Steph I need to come and watch your vids more often because they always make me laugh and feel better! Glad to see you are clad with the miners light and sowing peas in the moonlight- somehow that feels like there’s a children’s story in there! Hope you are feeling good and making the nanny dig for you!
Hi Maria! Great to hear from you again! Glad they always give you a pick me up! I’m slowing down quite a bit, so yes, everyone is helping out a lot, but we’re getting some things done so it’s working out! I hope you’re well!
Thanks Steph! Presprouted my sweet peas this year and am growing in toilet paper rolls right now as opposed to root trainers. Seems to be working 😊 You look great! Keep up the great work!
We’re growing lots of the same sweet peas. Bristol, Blue Shift, Proctol off the top of my head. I follow Erin The Impatient Gardener’s method of putting them between sheets of damp paper towel then into deep root trainers. Just love ‘em!
First time with sweetpeas this year, and I only had one variety, so plonked them in the soil as is lol. They came up! I used not very deep row trays, which I've used before for snowpeas, and I can just lift them off as a whole row and plant. They are hardening off now, gonna plant them in a couple containers and see how they do! Your varieties are super pretty.
Hi Steph, loved your video about sweet peas. I am a lover of sweet peas all of my life. My faves are Lord Nelson 1907 blue, King Edward 1903 pink and "old scented" mix. Kind regards from The Netherlands from Joke Blokland.
So funny story about dates and seed age. My grandmother had some beet seeds that were 20 years old so she didn't think they would sprout so she planted the entire package. guess what ALL of the seeds germinated 🤣🤣🤣
Next year, to keep your life even simpler you could winter sow your sweet peas in milk jugs in January or February. Super hands off and they sprout when the temp is right. It has been a game changer for in starting all my flowers. 💐
Yes, I agree. Definitely soak them overnight. Is the better method I find 😊

Hope these are growing for you! I notice this week most of mine have sprouted! 👍

Your little green house is perfect for my small yard. What company made it?
Palram - the precious owners of our house got it from Costco.
Always a joy to view your garden adventures! My sweet peas did not germinate (older seeds) but I have plenty of other seedlings to enjoy this summer.
Thank you, Barbara! Hoping these delightful sweet peas still give me a good show this year despite being late! :)
I’m growing Beaujolais and High Scent too!! 💕 Your little bouquets are soooo cute ☺️
Yessss...I really enjoyed Beaujolais last year. Thank you! I'm personally obsessed with them. The daffs are sending me to the moon!
Hi Tinys Garden. Wanted to see how the baby bunny’s are doing. I also had babies make a nest in my garden bed and they are doing well.
They’ve flown the coop, but I think I’ve seen them around and they’re growing! 👍

Hi Joke! I've got to look all of these up now because I haven't heard of them. Thank you for sharing! They may be added to my list next year! :)
I’m zone 5b. I soaked and direct sown in March. They were coming up in about 2wks
I wish I would’ve gotten mine out then, but most have sprouted so we’re getting somewhere!

Bạn có rất nhiều hạt giống 🌺 hoa tốt ,bạn cũng trồng hoa rất giỏi 🌺👍.
I direct sowed my sweetpeas this year but back in feb. They are tough and coming up just fine. Zone 6a
You were right on time! Glad to hear yours are working for you!
