  • Today on DIY solar power with Pappa we had something drained our batteries overnight, shut down inverters and one battery went into protection mode for eight hours. Our 24v parallel inverters shut down, one went back into single mode and reverted to manufacture settings., The other inverter stayed in parallel mode causing a fault. One of our freezers for some reason overnight caused the batteries to drain quickly and shut down the inverters. We defrosted our freezer, cleaned out and restarted and problem disappeared. Reprogrammed inverters to parallel and we were back up and running again. When I looked on RUclips to see if anyone else had a similar problem I couldn’t find a video so I made this video. Please like, share, subscribe and don’t forget to hit that notification bell for more videos. Hope you have a truly wonderful and extremely blessed day.

You are welcome. A lot of trail and error as we go. It is a blessing to be able to share what we have learned. Just one setting in the inverter can keep it from working with lithium iron phosphate batteries. Can spend hours or days trying to get all the settings correct. Hope you have a truly wonderful and extremely blessed day.

Signature solar, go to website. In search bar type in Garage and everything they have refurbished that day will be listed. You can also call them and ask what Growatt inverters they have in stock that are refurbished and ready to ship.

Hi, not sure i am getting rid of any inverters at this point with inflation going through the roof and supply dwindling.

@@diy-solar-guy had to ask. That's the only reason I spent $25,000 on solar this summer. Because the world is falling apart

@@electromechanicalstuff2602 I bought my mpp inverters from santansolar.com. In Arizona there is no tax and can pick up for free if you live near to Gilbert Az. Just looked on SanTan solar web site, they have the LV6048 Hybrid Inverter 120/240V 48volt for $1550.00. You are smart buying now, prices will continue to increase over the next couple of years. Santan solar has not marked up their inverter prices that I can tell for the last 3 years. Still same price as when I bought. Good luck with your solar and let me know if you have any questions. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed day.
