2014 GC owner here. Thank you very much! I've been looking for a tutorial like this for months! My tailgate sensor is shot, and all the replacement tutorials I've come across already have the panels removed. This just saved me time, energy, money, and allowed me to fix an annoying dashboard light issue.

Any chance you could make a video on removing the side panels on the inside? Someone put a very slight dent near the rear on my '18 GC, and I need to get at the inside of the rear quarter panel.

This actually happened to me a few months ago. I checked the fuses inside the hood and the fuse for the lighter was blown. I got lucky and I replaced the fuse and fixed the problem.

Can you remove the lower panel only without remove the upper panel first?

Unfortunately it's upper panel first, then lower. But the upper one is easy enough to remove. Hope that helps!
