The reason why, it’s because Ravensburger didn‘t think that lorcana would grow this much in 1 year and they want new players to also have Access to „First Chaptee“ cards without paying 200€ and above for a playset of cards.
I think the illumineers dual colors on their weapons represents the decks. Because we are the illumineers and those gadgets are our decks. That's my thought
Tbh, there will be definitely no dual colors this next set. The 3 Illumineers just have the 2 colors of their deck. Every deck already consists of 2 colors... So it's most likely just that.
