Boda: Baile del muertito / Marcha fúnebre (Wedding: Dance of the dead)

In this ritual, the godparents and friends of the groom lift him up in their arms just as a coffin is carried, while the funeral march sounds in the background and they make a tour of the entire room where they strip him of some clothing such as a tie, socks and shoes; to later be thrown into the air repeatedly. This is usually done by the closest friends and relatives, since the groom places his trust in them not to let him fall. "El muertito" is the representation of a funeral to the groom's single life, where he says goodbye to the parties and commits 100% to spend more time with his wife and his future children. Whoever removes the groom’s shoe can also collect money with it (thanks John Mabida for doing that lol)
En este ritual, los padrinos y amigos del novio lo levantan en brazos al igual que se lleva un ataúd, mientras suena de fondo la marcha fúnebre y hacen un recorrido por toda la sala donde lo despojan de algunas prendas como corbata, calcetines y zapatos; para luego ser lanzadas al aire repetidamente. Esto lo suelen hacer los amigos y familiares más cercanos, ya que el novio deposita su confianza en ellos para no dejarlo caer. “El muertito” es la representación de un funeral a la vida de soltero del novio, donde se despide de las fiestas y se compromete al 100% a pasar más tiempo con su esposa y sus futuros hijos. Quien le quita el zapato al novio también puede cobrar dinero con él (gracias John Mabida por hacer eso jajaja)
