@@kidrobot. the grand tonfas that can rotate about their fixed point(also pile bunker included), *F E E T*, and that javelin sword that is also a wire. Quite lovely, innit?
Iron Blooded Orphans is what convinced me to try Gundam in the first place so I'm basically guaranteed to buy most of the kits, the being said this kit imparticular is very cool. Its a shame it's so sticker heavy, but I skip most stickers anyways aslong as the essential colors and details are accurate (especially if they're garish or dog earring over edges)
The moment I saw the Asmoday it instantly became my favorite Gundam design of all time and that is saying something as a massive IBO fan. Everything about its design, colors, weapons and combat style really speak to me. I still prefer the name Asmodeus, I do not understand at all why they changed the name for English regions. I am obsessed with this design though and I really hope we see it showing up in different Gundam games soon, not just Urdr Hunt(if that ever actually comes out). I painted up and top coated my copy of the kit and it it really shines. I cannot get over how much I love this design and I'd kill to get a MG version someday(though if that ever happened it would sadly most likely be p-bandai....)
Love the design and colors and how original all the IBO designs are! I JUST got into Gunpla a few days ago after building zoids kits as a kid way back and started out with 3 HG IBO kits and have found they’re falling apart pretty constantly when trying to pose. Do you have a video about how to make adjustments as a beginner?
This has the same issue Marchosias had: ridiculous colors impossible to color match. But like Marchosias, all of the odd color applications have included stickers, and the colors that aren’t corrected with stickers aren’t difficult to match. (The last IBO kit I built was Lupux Rex. Color accuracy was NOT a priority )
I was eyeing this kit for a while. Gotta keep in mind to get white primer paint and some sanding sticks since I already got paints in those colors (enamel paints even).
I put an order for the knight of dark sky and two of these Asmoday kits jw wondering how long rough it takes an order like that roughly to get package and set on average btw i love you vids this is also the first time i ordered some from you guys so i just wondered
The mecha design is badass, if you ask me, but being an IBO HG is holding it back. I honestly wish they'd drop the HG line and do more MG kits from IBO. They have a killer MG frame that is designed to be used on 72(+6) Gundams, but they only made 1.
I dont think the hg line is taking too much resources from mg development, seems very odd to ask for them to stop making a product that sells well and is mostly great quality, and instead make 1 (one) maybe 2 a year of an extremely high quality product that is guaranteed to sell less do to it costing 3 to 5 times as much
@@valvravehito5114 It’s going to sound weird but I was thinking grey instead of lavender, tractor yellow instead of the fluorescent yellow. Sort of inspired by the zeta plus C1. Either that or go with a Muv Luv inspired color scheme.
@@BLAZE084 I totally can see the grey and tractor yellow combo working. maybe with a darker green to match. I too am not a fan of that lavander. I can only imagine that lavander pops better in anime than it does irl.
Florida man is taunting me to rush through my backlog to build this guy.. the stickers are a disappointment but I still like the way it looks over all..
the design is great but god, it's like they're not even trying with the HGIBO kits anymore. no other modern line has nearly as many stickers nearly as often
Bandai you have the MG Barbatos thus you could have easily milked the MG IBO Gundam Frame as you only need to make new armor for the thing, I want all the HG IBO Gundams to be also in MG format, I want a MG Astaroth.
Thank you for accidentally reminding me that I still haven't build this kit from my rapidly growing backlogs. Nope. Not going to build it today, cause procrastination feels so good.
Love the design, love the idea, love the color, hate the stickers.
what idea?

I spent two weeks mixing, remixing, and color-matching swatches with various paints in order to avoid using the damn stickers.

Actually just purchased this kit a couple of weeks back and will be diving into this as my next build. Am rather excited as it does look pretty rad!!!

I fell for this gundam as soon as it was revealed. Just bought the HG today. Very excited.
Zup Zack, heavy stickers means lets paint, kit looks pretty good, nice accessories, lots of gimmicks, thanks for the video 😎👍🏼
I just built that kit a day or 2 ago, I really like it. I have it posed next to my Blazing Gundam since they both have tonfas.

A couple weeks late but he does have a good playlist of Gunpla building tutorials! Welcome to the hobby!

If I get this, I would need to paint to where the stickers will be to make it better along with seam line removal

I love the design but I will definitely change the color scheme once I get my hands on this kit.
What colour do you have in mind?

Love this one, it looks like a Decepticon.
With a name like that, someone is going to *_REPENT._*
I'd love this kit in titans colours

Finally! waiting for this 🔥
still have this in my backlog hehe

I kind of like this thing because it doesn't really look like a gundam. Is that weird?
Lmao I bought this when It came out and have yet to even take the wrapping off the runners
Thanks for reminding me to finally getting to it later lol
I love this kit
Is there still hope that we'll receive Dantalion with all of it's armor along with the remaining accessories?
Probably not
I just want a HG Spinner Rodi...
You may get lucky!
@@ZakuAurelius God I hope. Seeing the line still getting attention is definitely a good sign.
Très bonne rewiew
Je l'ai et j'avoue il est terrible 😍😍
When i see this kit it is a perfect gundam for ride..just sad he didnt have the chance to own a gundam of his own..
Kinda looks like a repainted Astaroth Origins to me
