Shell Beach Tidepools and Caves, California, 1976

A home movie I made with my Minolta 8mm video camera when I lived in Shell Beach in 1976. I was reflecting on how we often think of 'conquering the ocean' as if it was our enemy. Instead, we are just visitors to the ocean and must respect its intrinsic beauty. A brief shot of my roommate at the time, Tom Fulks, occurs at 6:00. Amazing times.
