The way the piano started the intro is so powerful.
Like, even the current iterations of TYW with the fancy orchestra intro has nothing on the MM2013 version.

I wish actual Magical Mirai's were like this :( As much as I love them they're starting to feel uncreative now... I really hope for Miku's 15th we get a big one with way better backgrounds and transitions. Miku isn't a real person so why are they abiding her by the laws of one?
The drawback of having a huge convention every year is that they don't have that much time reinventing and preparing everything, especially with song selection, licensing issues, venue preparation, etc. etc. going on so they just end up reusing a lot of things.
I do think the Magical Mirai 2020 concert was pretty good though.
I will admit Crypton and everyone (professionally) working with Miku does have a stagnation problem though. Compared to them you can see VSinger and 1st PLACE concerts moving way quicker.
this makes me miss my vocaloid phase, it's so good T_T
