So I've been thinking what's my favorite geologic period, and I have to say it's definitely Carboniferous. It's when Life expanded to land. Obviously, life was expanding on land in the Devonian, but come on, that was basic. It was weak. I think they were also explaining to the Silurian but, you know. The Silurian was also pretty primitive. He's got like Cooksonia athropods, really small arthropods. And they also have prototaxites and that kind of stuff, some fungi. But it was basic. And in the devonian, you got like some trees, which is cool. Yeah. and maybe a few more different, like, specialized species of bugs, but it's boring. And I feel like just my biggest problem with the protozoic, it's mostly just weird ocean animals, and that's cool, you know, it's fun to see weird alien creatures, right? But it can get kinda boring after a while, especially with the Ordovician, it was just the same old, same old, same old cephalopod creature, and they're weird. So not much more. Also, Devonian had a lot of, like... basic pseudo-sharkfish things, and that's fine. It did have Jaekelopterus though, and that's pretty cool. The Permian completed dropped the ball, by the way. Promising start. but the end was, Just big. barren desert, and it's just so depressing, you know? And that led to the Mesozoic, which I think is even worse, you know? It's just... All dinosaurs, except for Triassic. Triassic had a bit of a power vacuum. And that's cool because there are dinosaurs but they're not all that exist which the later periods can say as much. Where in order to get anything notable that isn't a dinosaur, you have to go to the sea or sky.
