@@SKYBELLE what is the natural toothbrush made from. Some places show them as being licorice, but I think they can be different from different parts of africa.
As an Jamaican living in Florida, this is why me and my family are moving to Ghana next month after the U.S election. May Almighty Jah guidance continue to protect MAMA AFRICA 🇲🇼🇯🇲🇬🇭
Where in Ghana are you moving to. I am going to the Eastern region. Jamaican also living in Florida. Will be there in November also
Sweet Bad Hi I’m Jamaican living in Atlanta I bought land in Gambia it’s called little Jamaica
Sweet Bad Nsawam
@@jettunion7430 ABURI MOUNTAINS that's where my wife's dad come from. Bob Marley wife Rita, also live in the same area. There are a lot of Caribbeans are living in the same area.. We have 1 acre of land over there. We have already built first 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. We just bought floor tiles and toilet seats last three weeks. So hopefully by November 26th the first 4 bedrooms will be completed for me and my wife and our 2 kids
RedGold Green I am not too far from Aburi, very nice did cool area. Congratulations on the house so much better than renting. Was going to send my daughter to Aburi Girls school.
I like how respect for the elders in African culture is promoted!❤️🌍
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow forgot the login password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
“Need I say more?” “Bath and body works has nothing on this” 😭 I’m sold, scoot over!
omg i am moving in. so beautiful xx
Yes please I need a roommate 🤗🤗
Just look at what nature provides for us!
It’s incredible to see, the air here is even fresher I can’t quite explain it
Absolutely love the respect! That’s something our “modern” culture is missing!
The children and the grandchildren of Mother Africa in all the cities across the world, would now through your lens experience some of the life of their roots in Africa where they and their ancestors come from. Sky Belle, this is special education you have touched on. Keep going, the reward is going to be huge and priceless.
Yes this has been a deep experience for me and I’m glad to share it with the world
Agreed👌🏿
This is one of the greatest videos I have seen on RUclips for a longtime. Keep up the good work. You are representing Africa well by telling our TRUE story. I hope CNN will hire you one day. Great job girl.
I hope sooo too! I’m over the moon excited to share our African story
Amaka, you are amazing, unbelievable! I am Nigerian and I lived in Tamale for a year out of a total of ten I spent in Ghana. I enjoyed my stay in Tamale. I recall the greetings - Densba (morning), antréé (afternoon) and anumwula (evening). The response in each case is Nnaa! You bring back my memories of Tamale. I tried to pick a bit of Dagbani but it was not easy. I lived in Kukuo and recall other parts of Tamale - Sakasaka quarters, Russian bungalows, Vitting, Naa Luro Estate, etc. But Amaka, don't tell me you live in Tamale!
This is beautiful to watch as an African in the diaspora to see where my roots are really touches my heart, I can’t even begin to thank you for this series! Fully supporting you on this journey Skybelle
Thank you sooo much
@@SKYBELLE butyfull place
OH OK, I see the content upgrade!!! The camera angles, storytelling, and etc. I love where your channel is going to going.
Many thanks sir! We strive to put out the best✊🏿
That’s the type of sponge that I used when growing up in the village. Tamale is not even a village. Tamale is a city. It so happens that in all cities across the globe, there exists twilight zones. She chose one such area to demonstrate life in a village. Village life is incredibly sweet and you have to live it to believe in it.
Well said sir! Twilight zone in every place
I feel like I’m watching a professional documentary, this needs to be on TV ❤️ Thank you for showing us this experience, I learned so many things, how hard working village women are, SkyBelle it must’ve been hard carrying the wood on the head 😭 the natural sponge does an amazing job & you’re beautiful in the authentic dress ❤️ waiting for the rest, God bless you dear ❤️
Wow, thank you on every level! this is why I’m doing this series. to show us our roots and what we have abandoned!
Girl that glow! Shea Butter is the bomb!
I know right
Yeah be sure to get genuine, raw shea butter. Not the ones mixed with something else. It's hard when cool and melts when warm. If it's liquid in cool temperature, then it's fake Shea butter
Emelita East exactly!!
Please where can I buy the Shea butter ? Do you ship to Germany ?
@@aabcd9604 she ships worldwide
One of the best RUclips content I have ever come across. Is obvious you don’t live in the village, but you kept it real, thanks.
Tamale nima kawula. I'm a dogbomba woman from tamale. Wow I feel so proud thanks so much for taking us along
Thank you too for watching!😍😍🤗
Am I the only one watching the video and dancing to the music! Africa is everything!
Amaka, I'm very impressed that you have gone to this extent to showcase village life in Ghana. I know you incurred travel expenses and hardships that you are not accustomed to... But the rewards I see and hear are inspiring and I hope it stays with you throughout life. Thank you dearly for taking on this series. Very well presented!
Sir I must say I deeply appreciate you always coming back and leaving a comment on every of my Video! I will ensures to put out the best quality content straight out of the village!
@oceej0 no sir, She is Nigerian.. Living in Ghana..
@@SKYBELLE it's a great pleasure... I do feel welcomed by you. I love watching you, Jasmine, Wode Maya (and Miss Trudy from Kenya), Miss twi (Deborah), JuujuGH (Judith in Accra), and numerous cooking channels in Ghana etc..... You West Africans are beautiful people!
@oceej0 you are welcome... Oh, Sorry if you are a woman.... I just assumed the name Ocee is a guy.. But what does an Obroni know? Lol So forgive me if I was in error.
David Allen thank you 🤗🤗❤️
I have been watching your vlogs but have never commented. You are taking vlogging to the next level and am really inspired. keep it up

I really appreciate your content. We get to see village life in real time. It's just wonderful. Thank you SkyBelle
My pleasure 😊 much more to come!
This is why we need RUclipsrs like this
People that shows the beauty and the opposite
I've watched this for 2.19 mins and already feel like I have wayyy too much stuff in my home. Looking forward to following this series
this warms my heart! glad to have you on follow along on this Journey!
The sponge reminded me so many things, not only in the village. I was living in the city and that was what my mum used to bath me, now we can't find it anymore. We easily forget good things our grandparents thought us and jump to something that we don't know. The sponge and wood tooth brush was the best. We should go back Africans (sankofa).
Yes it’s time to return and celebrate our ways
Yes ooooooooo
I enjoyed watching your morning routine in the village. It is amazing. Everything is natural. People are family oriented, United and live on community. It is amazing and beautiful
Well done my sister for traveling all the way to Tamale 👏🏾🇬🇭👏🏾. Keep up the good work.
Sky Belle thanks for sharing with us ❤❤❤❤🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Thank you for watching sis 🤗🤗
I remember passing by villages on my way from Tamale to Larabanga. I would see the children in the village playing and having fun. I snapped a few pictures just to remember. It was awesome seeing how simple yet beautiful life was for the people
the beauty in simple living cannot be described and I hope to communicate that in every single episode
I absolutely love this🖤and so comforting to see the similarities with country life in Jamaica. Thank you so much, I knew this series was gonna be fire! Well done YoungStar👏🏿
Glad you enjoyed! your comments still ring in my head every time I upload! I’ve struck gold and I’m a youngstar✊🏿✊🏿❤️
@@SKYBELLE Glad to know you appreciate my comments. I give credit, where credit is due. Keep up the great work. Peace👌🏿

I’m excited you’re enjoying the series, many more to come as well😀
This is touching Sky Belle. this completely reminds me of the way I grew up. We have lost so much of the things that truly keeps us together. I love life in the countryside. The village life
for me it’s such a deep rediscovery of self and my hope is that one day Africa will look like her self again
This is as real as it gets with original content! The scenery is truly beautiful! I will definitely not skip a single episode
Many thanks 🙏🙏
Waoow very inpresive keep it up my sister
Skybelle to think that we complain about slow WiFi in the west! See how they live so simple yet very happy
Exactly!
You don't only complain about wifi in the west...we complain in Ghana too oh!!!
Ivy Prosper really?
@@xoxo-kg7ff yes....if the type of work you do relies on wifi...there are a lot of complaints here. But, if you choose to live a simple life, like what she shows in the video, with work that does not need the Internet, then you won't have any issues. My old office in East Legon, Accra we had 4 different Internet modems in the office so that if one drops the signal, we had another to use. Our clients were all in Europe or the U.S. so we had to stay connected.
@@IvyProsper really! using a dongle? Why can't you get a 4g portable WiFi that can take 10 devices at the same time?
really authentic! loved this! Discovered you on 'The Acheampong Family'; it was after seeing your interview with Tiffany that I thought to myself, 'you have such an aura of beauty and love...really enjoyed this, and I am loving your content. Subscribed.."bellez gang" 🤗🇬🇭🇳🇬

@@SKYBELLE Thank you, and keep doing what you do! I am rooting for you 🤗
This content is solid. Much love @skybelle
Many thanks sir🙏🙏
You have found your niche and your voice I hope your subscription goes up, this is really a life lesson, we have been made to believe that we need a lots of things to make a living, but we don't. We get all this stuff and yet we're unhappy and stressful.
Absolutely beautiful...wow...I hope to experience it myself one day...God bless you skybelle
Amen!!! it’s a lifetime experience you should go for it!
Newly subscribed and I love your music selection. I like how you choose the right type of music for which ever region or area. Damn girl why you got to take shots at my favorite store bath and body works lol. But you are right nothing beats natural organic.
Thank you sir for watching, I’m happy to see you enjoyed the video even the sound tracks 🙏🙏❤️
That was a great video. I’m from the U.S but I love seeing how my African brothers and sisters do their daily living routines. Please do more great videos like this because many of us plan on visiting and this helps us learn about our African roots and your culture and customs.

Eenhhhee girl, the way you balance that firewood, chaai
SB PLEASE!! I beg you make the shaa butter, natural tooth brush and natural sponge available on the sky belle skin website so we can buy PLEASE! I'm done with these foreign chemicals! As an African I need to use what my African body wants, grown from African soil!
Most definitely! They all are available now
I personally think u are a good story teller and a narrator OK?
wow! I appreciate your comment🙏
Dont let people of tamale hear you call it a village, by landsize tml is close to the size of accra 😁 i know what you mean though, lived there nearly 8 months......
Yes I really need to correct that!
yes, the "african sponge", i used it for the first time when I was iin my dad's village in northern Sierra Leone. it exfoliated my skin so well. you're making me miss home, love the footage.
