She’s said thank you dozens of times in the vlogs 🤦🏽♂️ Remember she used to pronounce it dada for a long time. Now she says dangoo. It is rare to see Eden because she has become sooooo lazy these days. She doesn’t like being out at all anymore and she sleeps at home 70% of the day.

Lived in central Portugal for over ten years, I speak fluent Portuguese, don't regret it, but wouldn't go back. There are some nice aspects, but there is very little to do beyond the bar/cafe/restaurant. Also, little, yet important things such as Amazon Prime and next day delivery in the UK. Sometimes my orders took weeks in Portugal. You cannot live in a village and keep yourself to yourself without offending people either. In the UK I can just be anonymous if I want to and people respect that. You can't be different in Portugal without being labeled crazy or a donkey. Where I live in the UK you can drive around and find people selling eggs and veg at the bottom of their drives with trust to pay for the goods and not steal. If you do that in Portugal, you will lose the money and the goods. The fires, dear God the fires. I could write all day.
Strange comment in my opinion. Can you name a couple of things you can do in the UK that you cannot in Portugal? You must have lived in Portugal many years ago as I have ordered over 100 items in the last two years in Portugal from Amazon UK, ES, DE, and FR. Can always get one day delivery and no item has taken longer than four working days. Not sure what you mean by different, but we have no issues with the people of our small village or do they with us. Just a simple wave, a hello, good morning etc. is enough. I am sure you are originally from the UK and became homesick which is common and normal. If you the check crime rates you will see that the UK is much higher than Portugal. Oh, you could write all day, but would it make any sense?
Cognitive Dissonance indeed if the good things in life for you are next day Amazon deliveries Portugal is the wrong choice for you. And by the way, they are longer in central Portugal ( in a way).
