Im Irish and I worked for various national newspapers on Fleet St (as an Advertising Sales Manager and definitely NOT a journalist) during the Troubles in the 6 counties. Every time a bomb went off on the British mainland I would get stick from my co workers who would always make a point of coming up to me to say in front of people " See what your boys have been up to again!" Im 6ft 2 and 15 stone and eventually I lost my temper with a guy and asked him why the feckin hell are "they" my boys? His response was "Typical mick always trying to start a fight" The guy was luck that I walked away What is happening to the muslims is exactly the same as used to happen to us Irish and I totally empathatise with them Ps I am a Celtic supporter and we bhoys have been supporting Palestine for decades to such an extent that UEFA keep fining the club because of our fans waving Palestinian flags when we were playing against an Israeli team in the Champions League (since when was feckin Israel in Europe BTW?) and our club has banned our Ultras, The Green Brigade, to please the corrupt bastards who run football

@FionnCr perhaps you need to go ask the Muslims you work with on all the ways they were made to feel other or complicit any time something happens in the UK or globally. I can promise you they've had things said directly or indirectly and they would have not mentioned it because they just want to get on with their job and go home without causing a scene. I can tell you for a fact that as a young hijab wearing girl after 9/11 I was called terrorist by strangers on the street while in my school uniform and have had to endure questions from non-muslim colleagues at work about why "we" are so violent. You have no idea. Count yourself lucky that you aren't seen as foreign, a future threat or complicit to some global religious conspiracy and you get to be looked at as an individual.

Tbh I know a a couple of mathematicians and they spend most of their time trying different formulae and getting the same or similar wrong answers. That's most of thier job, just the same way that engineers spend most of the time designing things that won't work then trying to make one that doesn't work a little bit less until it does work.
I like Nabin however in respect to the offender in this case he has he's story incorrect/incomplete. The offender had a serious mental health issue and is a damming indictment of the state of mental health support in Australia. First reports indicated a Jewish individual as the stabber who has since received an undisclosed payment from aust news channel for defamation. I don't know where the muslin terrorist story came from but it was also incorrect and Rachael should have checked her facts before commenting. However he was not an incel either.
Except that it's always a mental health problem when it's a white guy. Why are the white terrorists classified as 'mentally ill' while the brown terrorists aren't given the same excuse?
