What's interesting to me is that the jews who returned from exile did not copy this floor plan when they made the 2nd temple. As if they knew this was not talking about the second temple. Why did God not give them the dimensions of the second temple first, then give them this one? Unless this is not a physical temple. There is no description of wall decorations, yet even the transportabl one made in the desert has very intricate designs with different material. This temple has no roofs, or even superstructure.
@@ryantandy307 I don't know if he rebuilt it, or just expanded the second temple built after the exiles returned. I'm trying to figure out if this is a physical temple that is described in Ezekiel or a picture of the church, or Christ himself.
Why rebuild the temple? The moses covenant was still in progress. The sacrifices needed to be continued to point towards Jesus. The temple is the best place to do this.
