It's so cool to hear this review and your thoughts Martin. I like his solo stuff alot. Bought the first six when they came out. 'Pictures...' & 'Principle...' on cassette and the rest on CD starting with 'Shaken...'. I respected the fact that instead of following a formula that would ensure millions more in sales, Plant followed his own muse. One of my regrets in life happened in Sept '83. I was driving my best freinds '67 Pontiac GTO from southern Oregon to Chicago before going to Navy bootcamp and weather school in Illinois. I arrived in Chicago late the same night Robert was playing the Rosemont Horizon for 'Principle of Moments'. Shucks🫰
Great album. 'Big Log' remains one of my top 10 songs of all time.
The intro to this review is the most Chris Welch thing ever! He had such a great way with words. Great album, great review.
Mesmerizing Album Martin enjoyed this one cheers
Fantastic writing there🎉
Reviewer got it right, great album. "In the Mood" is such an ear worm
Yep I remember buying in when it came out. It's good but I liked Pictures at Eleven a little more, maybe because it was a little more Zeppelin-like

If you missed "Fate Of Nations" (I think it was 1993), you should check it out. It's probably my second favorite of his, after "Principle..."
@gwts1171 thanks for the recommendation. I love '29 Palms'.
