I don't know what's with Swedish people, but every style they put their hands on, will give birth to jewels. Their music is very pleasant to the ear and originality is the common attribute of most of their tracks.
I've seen them in concert 4 times so far, most recently in 2011 at Tremont Music Hall, in Charlotte, NC. They stole the show, as usual. Liv's voice was, and is still, amazing. Got to hang out with her and the rest of the band after the show. As good as they are performing, they are just as cool to hang with. I just wish American radio would remove their heads from their asses and play their stuff. No surprise then, that Sirius/XM is annihilating mainstream radio...

If this band were around in the early 80s there would be no stopping them. I hope they lead the world out of the crap that is popular now and in their direction. @stratorat79 I graduated in 83 lol. Yes, there were women like Lita Ford, Vixen, Joan Jett, Wendy O Williams, like you said Doro but they were the exception. It was a big deal when it was a woman. Just like it was a big deal if a black person was playing metal or Japanese(like Loudness). Let's be honest, metal in the 80's was mainly the white guy's club. It's FAR more diverse and open minded now and that's a good thing.
