    I think jobs wanted people to believe that the big ideas are bad, so people would not bet on it.

    This seems like a made up conversation with Jobs, doesn't sound like him at all. In addition, the timing is all wrong. The iPod Steve would have had with 1000 songs on it was in beta in 2000, 8 years before the introduction of the iPhone. So Jobs calls Benioff 8 years after their dinner to invite him to the Apple unveiling because of "the app store". Also, during that presentation, Jobs never said he invented anything.

    Call me
