Dav’s teacher told him “MR. PILKEY YOU NEED TO GROW UP”!!! Even Dav’s Principal told him “Writers/Artists are a dime a dozen”. But even with all that Dav said it best “I wasn’t a very good listener” In the end Dav got the last laugh on them all as he became a successful children author who drew amazing pictures in his books with all of these jokes they hated.

Well guess what people, children are not meant to learn the same way. My two children don’t learn the same so why would a single curriculum work on every child? He’s lucky that school didn’t break his spirit and his way of learning. What an inspirational man.
