John Murphy (i’m polish) the eastern territories are pretty much useless. Most of the population, cities and money was in the lost territories. Also Poland lost Baltic so like wth. Doesn’t make any sense
They do send troops, but it’s not realistically possible to send an armada! I defeated Britain and France as Germany, and the next thing I saw were American and Canadian troops in Africa and Europe creating resistance against Germany
No they are actually set up the frontline, but the dumb things is they change the army in the frontline with the army in far location, so it need time for the far army to go to front line location, and the frontline will be not protected for sometimes.
In my games Germany sometimes gives all the French land to Vichy France and just ignores the western coastline completely, the Allies would have a free landing since they're only against Vichy France.
i love how desperately the allies try and make landings in france it is remarkable they still managed to win despite losing so many men in those failed invasions
Fun Fact: As Germany; if you let Soviets attack and capitulate Poland before you do (they almost everytime attack them in 1940 if you don't attack first), they will honor the Molotov-Ribbentrop and take only the eastern Poland. But this way poznan and katowice becomes your cores as well, alongside Gdynia and Danzig.

The high ground I had one game in which WW3 started between China (+ allies) vs US (+ allies). Japan got invaded and occupied for years, until the counter invasion by the US. Even I, Mexico, got invited to the war on the US side because when I declared on Socialist Venezuela, they joined the Chinese side.
These are niche videos, but I love them! I set up hands-off overnight runs of Paradox games for fun, but can't follow what happened like these. Keep these up, and I will watch them all! I really like the little info bubbles of encirclements, and if there are comments in subtitles about big decisions/events as well that would be great, like why Germany didn't invade Poland. The individual country casualty tally is nice addon, though I still like seeing total faction numbers over time in a graph format. Still waaay better than a naked timelapse. If you keep making different scenarios/results for different Paradox games, video possibilities are endless.
I think the UI from the eastern front video was better, I got an clearer picture of the numbers. I mean what do the army numbers mean, I liked seeing the army size more
its not even that. You can tell the British/Americans are buffed up here. Take a look at how little amount of forces the British/Americans need to take land as opposed to Germans who need to hold it. It seems like its a 2-1 or 3-1 ratio.
Because in its stupidity, the ai is manning the borders with the co-prosperity sphere, even though they are essentially fighting in the same war while italy does better after it switched, in the end it was the reason they lost against the allies--as they stopped coordinating and defending together
It’s good to see the units because it shows you just how incompetent the ai can be. Such as the allies pushing italy all the way to Ethiopia then immediately pulling out 90% of their troops letting Italy retake most of the continent making the entire costly offensive completely pointless.
Dude, those 3 landings in France that the Allies pulled was fucking incredible. Sometimes the AI can genuinely impress me. With how the majority of Axis forces were over in the west after the Soviet Union capitulated, 3 landings was such a good idea.

So Germany got to keep Alsacc Lorraine and a large chunk of Poland despite losing the war, the US annexed entire Italy and some part in France. seems like the best peace deal ever.
The one thing I've always hated with the German AI is that it can NEVER land on the UK. When I play as Italy or Portugal or Spain or France or etc, I can always take out the British easily by navally invading. Is the bot that stupid?
1:33 actually paradox got it wrong. that region is called dobrogea, not muntenia (or northern dobrudja, if u consider the small region south of it). I'm still begging paradox to add that region as a standalone province.

What does the army stat mean? Like, what’s does the axis having 2373 army at the beginning of the video represent? Is it thousands of men deployed?
A minor improvement would be to align the casualties figures to the right so that the "k"s all line up in a straight line.
Id love it if you could up the quality to 4k! It would make it a little easier to see all the different flags on the front lines that are really blurry currently
It's too small, maybe highlight the big players somehow and hide those countries that could not be seen in the video like Japan?

Ran out of equipment and manpower from occupation
Well the reason for the obsessive border gore was the fact Japan, Italy and friends weren't defeated yet and their was no peace deal for them.
