Yeah, they aren’t as big or flashy as they used to be. But I wouldn’t go as far as saying they were terrible! They did good with what they had. And no matter how big/small, it takes a lot of effort to pull a string band performance off. My friend was marching with them this year and said that the band is in it to just have a good time- which is palpable, you could tell how much they loved being out there. Hopefully their energy will garner more participation in the years to come! 😄

What happened to Hegeman. They used to be a top tier band with a huge group and big productions? This was terrible.

It’s about members & money & u need a lot of both, although the band is small their sound is strong u can hear it
