That's a fantastic tomato harvest Ivan, a lot of my vine Tom's didn't ripen this year, yet my beefsteak ones were fantastic. No rhyme or reason to it sometimes!!!

Listening to you about Spring has made me so happy Ivan. My tomatoes have been fabulous this year and it's the first time I've successfully grown sweetcorn. I've spent this afternoon making lists for the next growing season and love watching what you're getting up to 😊

I don't blame you for being wary of this time of the year, the weather is so unpredictable! At mine, we worry more about wind knocking things off plants than the cold, but its all worrying. Lovely harvest!

Hi Ivan,ive been wagching your chanel this year yove done so well growing in containers,im thinking of doing that as working on the lotty is now too mush for my knees,this year weve had a bumper harvest of potatoes and tomatoes my store cupboard is full of passata,chopped tomatoes, ratatouille,and plums in syroup,but strawberrys and rapbberys have been bad this year,and dare i mention the devestation by molluscs has been unberable,i fund a really good way to make tomato sauce for pasta cut up tomatoes,garlic,pepers,drizzle with olive oil,salt and peper,herbs of your chioce and roast for an hour at160c,put into blender or use stick blender,you can then put into containers and freeze,i put mine in jars and pasturise hot bath method,as i prefer that,lacto-fermentation is another thing i learned in the last few years,love watching what you do,what veriety of strawberry are you growing?keep well,🍅🌶️
All sounds great Nina but the Strawberry plants had no label so dont know the variety sorry

I grew Sugargloss but with very poor results. Outdoors I grew Celano tomatoes 🍅 outside and have had literally hundreds and so sweet.
