Hey Ira. I don't know if I told you when in Chile that my US address is Haw River (near Mebane). Thanks for sharing and I shared with my family. Good edit and maps of the rapids. Keep Kayaking.
Thanks for showing all the moosejaw lines. I’ve only run one of them so this will be helpful. For the maze, I normally eddy left and then turn around to catch the tight s turn where you went left, but left looked good to. If you don’t eddy there and you take the s turn to the right it’s hard to not flip. Another thing that people don’t often do, but it’s fun is just river left after the Gabriel’s bend wave at the end is a 5 ft or so drop. It’s sketchy, but I think it’s worth portaging to run at the right levels. I’ve heard it called cascades.
The Maze definitely seems to be a pick & choose your own adventure! I had heard of the line at Gabes but didn't film it since most wouldn't take that line. -Ira
Much appreciation to the dedication of information you put into these, Ira!
Thank you! Hopefully the community continues to find these helpful -Ira
Thank Guys! Seen this river so much in Pete’s vids but never had a guide like that! Mucho appreciate the time y’all took to do this.
Glad you enjoyed it! I think River Kings has made this a river of legendary status! -Ira
Fantastic, very helpful,❤
Glad it was helpful!

Thats so cool, kayaking takes us around this big world but somehow makes it smaller & more connected. #KeepKayaking
Looks like a super fun river!
It is a great river & if you're in the triangle area I'd definitely recommend it!
