About 6:50. Us HW3 folks are desperately waiting to be upgraded to AI4 so we can at least have FSD 13.2 and, then unsupervised. NO ONE HAS ASKED for an upgrade for free (as promised by Elon himself) to AI 4 BECAUSE IT IS NOT AVAILABLE YET! As soon as it is, EVERY HW3 owner will request the free upddate. I DO NOT understand the dismissive attitude given to HW3 owners by the Tesla community. This is a REAL WORLD LEGITIMATE CONCERN. And, it needs to happen as quickly as possible. Even before reducing the price of FSD in general. Upgrade from HW3 MUST BEGIN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Musk then said yesterday that they now believe that they will need to upgrade them. Fair enough. But what’s all the adolescent angst about? HW3 has been pretty much up to speed until this point. If Musk has only just stated that upgrades will be necessary less than 24 hours ago, it’s quite likely that they will need to design and engineer the retrofit. Then order them. Take delivery and then train service engineers. So you need to anticipate six months or more of waiting from now. You’re not missing anything.
Great overview, Will. It's important to remember that FSD unsupervised in Austin and possibly California this year will only be for Tesla's test fleet. Private vehicle owners will still require full supervision at all times.
One thing Will; I’m not sure that Tesla is manufacturing all of the Optimus components. I think they say they’ve had to design and engineer everything, but my understanding is that they’re having some manufacturing done by suppliers to Tesla’s designs and specifications.
