Lot of people put Sopranos up there but honestly I wouldn't even put it in my top 5...if not for James Gandolfini it would have been a mid show. The Wire forever will be number one, maybe Deadwood is number 2 and after that it's a tough fight for the position

What About i just binge watched the whole Oz series and now im finishing The Sopranos, and I have to say that The Sopranos was the show that took tv to a whole new level. Oz was often lazy and repetitive. The formula behind Oz is very straightforward, and the characters and their development are not consistent and change to the writers whim to build up tension and spectacle for the sake of it. the formula of one guy tricks another into being good through a 3rd character that is marginally put into the mix so that it becomes a thread for a future trickster moment was okay in the beginning, but it got super repetitive and unrealistic especially since the main characters involved were always the same - shuffle and repeat, over and over again. The Sopranos is a whole diff level of writing and acting. And the proof of that is that breaking bad has sooo many similarities and inspirations from The Sopranos and that show became this generations revolutionary cinema.

Yes, it's 2023, and I just finished. This show was phenomenal. My favorite characters were Leon, Kareem, and Beecher. But far as Kareem, his character was so strong and so real. I was upset he was killed in season 8 for the most ridiculous reason ever. Because to me he made the show and to be from England and change his accent was great. They should have had a season 7,8,9,10 like the housewifes show.

I'm just watching this serie and i can say that IT'S A GREAT SHOOOOOW I'm really impacted about how all actors did a great job and those naked scenes by all cast are super hard even for the 90's

Wait a minute Said is British? That's crazy. And unlike McNulty and Stringer from the Wire I never heard his accent slip out on the show

Eddie Falco is pretty amazing, 2 of the best show's in history OZ and Soprano's she's been a part of, not a lots of actors/actresses can succeed like that. plus she's was in Nurse Jackie another heavy hitter.

I live in Brazil and this show was broadcasted by SBT over here back in the early 2000s and I can remember I was a kid back then and got really scared by the show! But I used to love that when I was a kid and now more grown up I've watched the show and oh my God....it's amazing!

OZ was a great show and far ahead of its time. How frequent do you see homosexual romance portrayed openly and intense back in the days?
If the show is released today, pretty sure it's gonna be a mega hit. Truthfully, the show is underappreciated.
Great to see the cast is looking good!

Oz is one of my favorite shows of all time. A true successor to Homicide (another great show)! It sucks that the Sopranos still gets caught all of the credit for HBO being for considered as a channel for a premium content.

Great video! Your channel is inspiring. As a drone videographer, wanna be actor, content creator and editor from Atlanta you’ve inspired me to Trey and branch out. I loved and still love the show. You’ve done a great job and keep up the good work. If you’re ever in Atlanta we’d love to work with you. Frank and Gina. 🎥😎
