That five cylinder turbo is ridiculous. There's Audi TT RS' is out here running with twin turbo Lamborghinis and vipers. That motors been a beast for decades.
The ONLY reason the audi won is the V owner got a intake with NO TUNE. That basically put his engine into limp mode guaranteed he has a Check engine light for p171. The CTS-V has 150+ HP more BONE STOCK over the audi RS3. The audi RS3 STOPS at 180 MPH. The CTS-V is a 200+ MPH car. Theres COUNTLESS videos of the CTS-v's and especially Blackwings that BEAT Hellcats, GT500's, AMG 63's, M5 CS, And Audi RS5's, etc. The ONLY way a BONE STOCK Audi is gonna beat a BONE STOCK blacwing is if its an Audi R8. Otherwise NO audi stands a chance. Also Cadillac's big brother is the Corvette. So if you wanna start talking about lambos and vipers 6+ figure cars then thats when the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray comes into play. 😉
@@albertomoreno3042 cool I like to have space and go fast. That way when I'm not going fast I'm still comfortable for as long as the ride is. Drove 18 hrs to florida then 18 hrs back. Charger no problem. Better accident protection and less chance of my getting stuck in a pothole lol. More room for the kids too. Or any adults riding along. Some ppl like big cars some ppl like small cars. I feel like I'm in a go cart with small cars and I'm not a big guy.
I always cringe when I hear an RS3 has to do a 50 roll over a 40 roll. It's night and day the difference in the jump an RS3 has at 40 due to the gearing. That's why he tended to always pull more in the top end. A 40 roll would have been embarrassing for the CTS-V. Still did very respectable for a virtually stock car though.
Actually, the 50 Roll is the best roll for an RS3, it put us over 5500 RPM vs 4300 RPM (40 Roll.) I prefer the 20/30 if anything lol. And if you are efficient at brake boosting the 40 is the way to go (I am not.)
@@TuanQTx at the stage 1+ E85, 50 feels slower to me. It's too high to start in 2nd, but just under the power band for 3rd. Maybe if I was stage 2 or 3 idk
@@scottc78 I am stage 1 tune with stage 2 TCU, many of my buddies who are stage 2 and stage 3 also confirmed to me that our best roll is indeed a 50 roll, and or brake boosting 40. My shift point is at 7100RPM
@@TuanQTx I have an '18 with uni stage 1+ E85 and TCU stage 2. I've played around with different ways to run from 50mph, but it seems to be right at the top of 2nd and bottom of 3rd. 40 is right before the top of 2nd, it's wicked fast without any brake boosting.

650HP CTS-V + Rear-wheel-drive and got gapped by a 500HP AWD car. I just don't understand. The CTS-V is a little heavier but not by much and it's RWD. It should have won the roll race.

Does the owner of this RS3 know how to mod turbo cars? Everyone knows the first thing you do if choosing to mod a stock turbo car, is an aftermarket downpipe. If not, then all other power mods are basically almost useless.
Downpipes on the RS3 are virtually unnecessary until you get into TTE700 turbo range. You'll get about 20awhp more on E85 max after DP. All the power is in the tune to utilize the 5 stock port injectors in addition to the 5 DI injectors to run E85 with more boost and timing. The upgraded turbo inlet pipe and intercooler are the next biggest improvements I made on my '18 RS3. Uni Stage 1+ E85 vs Stage 2 E85 is hardely worth it for 25hp more.

An E85 tune will usually always be the winner against a stock tune car.
