I am 17 years old and raced for two seasons. Was top in my class both years before it turned to dirt glad to see more people there and more people racing I hope the dirt track does well and I was glad to see you there kickin butt till you got hit 🙏🏼 hope you’re okay.
Good you and Carly got a run at the new track Kiddo. Now you've got two sets of notes from the evening. Didn't end the way you wanted. Maybe in June for the NARC race. Whup 'em then.. 😁😁
Tanner a few things, I still notice you're carrying you left front down the straights, that's wrong you want your right front up about an inch, we used to run an adjustable with a alan key pro shock set at 3 for tie down, and i think we blocked our rear end at 4 and put a round and a 1/4 in the right rear. you want that car to come out of the corner driving off the left rear, now if it was a non wing, then you want it driving off the right rear, on a sprint car the right rear is there to hold you but you want most of the drive coming from the left rear, we also ran 4lb in the left rear tire
Marbles? Everything in time. New material, little banking, find a place, stay in it. Rome wasn't built in a day but was destroyed in one. Good job as always. Take a positive look at every turn, when things do not turn out three times in a row, then, find the answer. Some might say need to fix it now, yet I would disagree, to a point. Logging all of your sets, moves, track conditions, weather, etc., encapsulates the given, over time. Tame expectations, everything else will follow. No matter what, stay upbea...!
Been watching you for a while now bro and I gotta say. Even though I race in Australia and a completely different division you are a very big inspiration for me man. Keep digging 💪💪
Just to cool & very special to see Mike hold off Andy 🥂, that's amazing by its self ! Lots of goose bumps , feeling those long stretches & speed into corners again . Lots of memories & feelings coming out of your in car go pro tonight Mandy . 🥂Another great day & night of racing ! Thank You 🥂❣️
Have you ever thought of running a tinted shield for the earlier on track action when the suns out and switching to a clear shield once the sun goes down? I used to do that and it helped a lot
Even though it sucks to have a wrecked car at the end of the night. The good things are that is probably very fixable and since that was a new track for everyone it wasn't to bad of a race for everyone. Like you said the people that prep the track will get better at it. It's all a learning process Thanks for sharing this video with us may y'all have a good one have fun take care
Good job Tanner looked like you found the groove up near the cushion and rode that baby to a new track record? Your discipline is definitely starting to pay off huh? Keep it up and enjoy the ride young man. 👍😁Steve
Yep. For sure. Alone on the track you’re quick. Just gotta figure out out to bring that to the race. Watch the video. Fast in, slow off. You catch up in the turn, they leave you coming out. Both ends.
Some guys race better than they qualify. Some guys qualify better than they race. Which of those two best describes you? Which of those two is the better thing to be? I don't see you doing anything to change.
Excellent qualifying. Cannot be complacent with your setup--it can always be better. You would have finished 3rd--keep the focus! Thank you for sharing--keep up the grind.
Did everybody else have the same problems you had? Everybody's racing on the same surface. I'm guessing the guy that won 3,300 didn't have a problem with the surface.
What's your life goal? Better start running the 410 full time, If you want to wear big boy pants. Maybe you'll get noticed. Run a west coast series. Get some 410 championships.
Best way I can describe Douglas County is that it's like Lincoln (PA) Lucas Oil Speedway, and a couple others. -- Lincoln (PA) in the fact that the pits are just beyond the backstretch. -- it's a smaller version of Lucas Oil Speedway in that it's flat. It just feels like LOS, as well! Nice track! Nice backdrop, too! ---------------------------------------- My one piece of constructive criticism is to have a better way off the track....... and I'm just nitpicking...... Maybe they could be inspired by what Weedsport (NY) in that they'd give some extra room for, at most, 3 ½ cars. One lane for entry & 1 way for exit. If they would do my conceptual track entry/exit, influenced by Weedsport (NY). They'd need to have theccars come off of turn 2, cross the infield to get to the exit of turn 4.
Awesome on the track record! Tomorrow is a new day and get it next time!

These last tracks I've seen aren't fair. The scenery is gorgeous. In the Upper Midwest we just get fields or grain elevators in our backgrounds.
Superman Fantastic Run ! Always look at high side put the BIG tire on shoulder left turn and punch It! BLOOD is pump'n! ⚡🏎

Awesome man
I mean on QuickTime nit that you wrecked (that made me sad)
Much to learn grasshopper! Make it a great day, jw
Gritty surface. Didn't look like clay at all. Looked like you were running on a beach 😎

head up
Sorry to see, but you are still the man. You can only get better
Good job!
Looks like they needed some water before the A main. You find a crew chief yet?

The lack of banking has me worried for this place.
Rick Brown Memorial? Would this happen to be "Quick Rick" Brown? Loved to watch him up here at Stateline Speedway and SRP half mile back in the day!
Hey Tanner, are you thinking about coming to the Midwest like Wisconsin? I think you would enjoy a couple of tracks here in Wisconsin
That crew chief thing is working out for you, scaling is teaching you all the time !!!
The inverted heats are silly. No reason to try for quick time.

Usually when clay is new it takes about a year of racing to really develop good characteristics
Tanner Prime example of the Fastest car not winning the race, keep going
great job buddy keep up the good work tommorow is another day
DAM SKIPPY 🏁👊💯🫵🇺🇸.....FAST BABY!!!🏁🏁🏁🏁
simply need more laps.
That was a pretty good race but that truck did look like it was kind of slimy
I may never go back down there?, if I want to see mud racing I'll go to Cottage Grove, and I've never been to Lebanon either.
hey you should look at the little 500 and try and enter next year. I would love yo see you out here battling Kody swanson next year!
The guy that started 3rd in the heat race screwed you over when he drove over the nose of the guy that started 2nd on the start at the flagstand
This is the video i've been waiting for! Can't wait to watch it! Let's gooooooooooooo THR
Anyone else hear a “pop” or a “cracking” noise a lap or 2 before the crash? Almost seems like something broke before the spin
Def looks like they could play with the banking
Just to cool & very special to see Mike hold off Andy 🥂, that's amazing by its self ! Lots of goose bumps , feeling those long stretches & speed into corners again . Lots of memories & feelings coming out of your in car go pro tonight Mandy . 🥂Another great day & night of racing ! Thank You 🥂❣️

Sunglasses also help I run a sportsman without a tinted shield when it's sunny so when it's sunny I use sunglasses

Awesome
Crowd looked great. The track wasn’t there quite yet. They’ll figure out how to make it two lanes.
Congratulations Tanner Holmes glad you could get to race

Are u going to come Attica for world of outlaws
New track. Prep will get better.... you'all raced on the same suface

Well done on the track record champ. Hope the cars not too bad. But I reckon that track could use a bit more banking.
Douglas county dirt track

👍🏻
New track surface, everyone is learning, don't expect too much.
WOOOOOAHHHH!
New track record on a track that never even had a record, c'mon lad, even a blind mouse could do that.
22 other cars trying for quick time that might disagree. Lol.
Not an impressive track. I was looking forward to seeing it. I sure hope it's not like that for the NARC show.
Awesome
