But if she becomes an apprentice to Dr. Strange it will be quite an interesting take on her origins. Dr. Cho is associated with The HULK, in this world, he is cocky, but he might have his own insecurities. And having a Wakandanian intern in Oscorp, seems suspicious, especially when you know that Wakanda has the most advanced Tech in the world. And the events that lead to the MCU's civil war. This means something is going on inside Oscorp that involves vibration. Jeanne assuming shares her comic book origins needs this support group of other intellectual people for personal growth and acceptance. Even Lonnie and Peter's actions speak volumes about their views of the world. Where Lonnie contemplates the life choices he must make believing he does not have a choice and that there is no going back, while Peter believes that everyone deserves a second chance, even after making really bad decisions.

The story is fine, but as an Animation major, some of the animation looks a bit off and stiff, for example in episode 2 the sports game felt odd, like the key frames were a milli-second too long.
The showrunner said they were inspired in part by Spectacularly, like the focus on Peter's personal life and the slow burn build up of villains, so I think it has potential to be up there given time. Already off to a strong start with the first two episodes
This show is so incredibly overhated. The style is pretty cool it does feel like straight out of a silver age comic, and the animation isnt very impressive, but not nearly as bad people say it is. I do like how they mix in the panels of comics during some action scenes. People should just watch the show first then decide whether to hate it or not. You might not like the art style which is 100% fine, but saying the show is terrible because you personally don't like its art style feels pretty dumb.
That's the internet since forever, pre-hate any changes, probably end up loving it anyway, or quietly slink into the shadows when the majority of fandom love it.
