I barely comment on RUclips but I have to say the video generously motivated me to work hard and get into med school, so I can experience the med school life and of course using that in-depth knowledge to save one life at a time! Thank you so much for the inspiration Thy!!
hi! depends on what year you're in. from memory, my experience was year 1: 4 assignments, 4 endofcourse exams, 1 prac exam, 2/3 marked simulated px hx-taking year 2: 3/4 assignments, 4 endofcourse exams, 2 prac exams, phase 1 portfolio, endofphase exam, osce, 4 marked simulated px hx-taking we get Turnitin via Moodle, a platform our school uses - we have to submit our assignments and written work to turnitin and via another platform for marking let me know if you have any other questions
Nice! btw what is marked simulated px hx-taking and phase 1 portfolio? Also in Year 12 what subjects did you do to receive these results if would be appreciated if you can make a new vid on like how you studied for each subjects in order to receive a high atar for med school!😀
marked simulated px hx-taking = when you take a history from a simulated patient (ie a volunteer who acts out a clinical scenario/symptoms). this is marked out of f/p-/p/p+ phase 1 portfolio = reflective essay of 8 grad caps my school has for us my year 12 subjects = 4u english, music 2, music extension, 3u maths, chemistry i've made a video on 4u english here: ruclips.net/video/Fx2pZuvmaj4/видео.html i'll consider making a video on music 2 and 2u maths/general study tips for year 12! stay tuned :))
@@CricXNatiosEditsOffical you're welcome! i studied roughly 2-3 hrs/day. near trials and hsc i think around 5-7 hrs/day medschool i study more near exams so maybe 6-8 hrs/day otherwise normally i did 1-3 hrs/day
HEY THY how are you going!? It’s your 4th year now right? That’s the honours project? How you feeling about that? 🤔 I wonder how that’s gonna be but anyway fun vlog (bit mid but that’s okay) and still waiting for next one! 😅
Funny thing I asked her that same question in an earlier video, Thy apparently said that 4th year is her last year of freedom. Beyond that is gonna be full on grind and sleepless nights in residency.
i am doing ok! hope you are going good yes ilp/honours project - have lit review coming up so i might disappear for a few weeks we'll see 🤣 thank you - i know you've been waiting a while for a medvlog! (5 months in fact oops...) i'm finishing off another medvlog which i'll hopefully upload in 1 month!
hi patrick, not too sure. what i do know is there's electives you can do in year 5 which should be for 8 weeks and you can go overseas i believe! double check tho
