Want to know why the FUCK they aren't more heard of. Dirty Heads are a modern Sublime and when I heard them, my mind was blown.

They're definitely the best reggae-rock band since Sublime. The only other one that comes close is Matisyahu, but he's gone all commercial.
I'm not a huge fan of Matisyahu's sound, it sounds, I dunno, repetitive a little. He's great when he makes appearances on other songs but I'm just not a huge fan of his solo material, like in my opinion if he brought about more of a home-grown reggae sound he'd do a lot better. I gotta agree with being the best reggae-rock band since Sublime, just above Iration, Pepper and The Expendables in my book. I'm waiting for other artists to join the Dirty Heads in producing more acoustic reggae though, stuff like Cabin By The Sea and Phantoms of Summer, but I haven't found anybody who hits the mark. I write stuff and I can see where they've influenced me, so hopefully I'm not the only one who wants to widen the scope of acoustic reggae.

Duddy really kind of is the idea behind the band.. Jared says it himself, he never thought of singing or being in a band but he met Duddy and Duddy was all about it.. One man cant make a band. Everyone in the band is good I think.. With how much success theyve gaines in the just the past year or two its clear theyve got it going on. and one dude leaves everything changes.. Dirty Heads are sick. Always have been.
