"There is only one boss... the customer, and he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else"
The narration here comes off as a high school project. And adding the sad music when the negatives are brought up (amateurish). And in the end when the solid brass is played during the talking about his legacy (almost to the point of being silly). The fact that this is a serious project is what makes it truly funny! 🤣
this is humble people unlike some rappers they have 1 million and he want to disrespect the people he want to break any laws in America but mr sam is just a legend
We used to patronize Wal-Mart ... AT LEAST ... once a week!!! One thing that I ... CANNOT COMPREHEND.... WHY are there so FEW Cash Registers ... OPEN??? There are MANY "SELF" checkouts however you need either a Debit/Credit Card!!! ... And the ... EMPLOYEES ... not much better!!! ... Things have gone ...DOWN ... since Mr. Sam died,...AND, he is 'turning' in his GRAVE!!! Shame on the Walton Family!!! We ...STILL patronize SAM's on Manhattan Blvd (Harvey, La.). ... ONLY because it is cleaner & the Employees are more helpful!! Other than that, we patronize Rouse's on Belle Chasse Hwy.
No man did more to develop China's economy. How many people went to Bentonville to pitch a product and were told at what price point Wal-Mart would sell their product at? Knowing that they couldn't produce their product in the USA at Walmart's price point, these people realized that China was their only alternative. Yes, Wal-Mart destroyed the local small business structure, but, more importantly, it hollowed out American manufacturing. Thanks, Sam.

"Were all working together; that's the secret" - Sam
Magnificent man, company and story.
The critics have never accomplished anything. If they are so smart, compete and beat Walmart, good luck.

Back when people cared about there job.He would be sick if he saw today’s Walmart

He may be different. an like his heirs. The difference...he did the hard work so his family be spoil brats.
Margarita Martasin He worked hella hard. It's ashame that he left fortune to children and not charity.

That had more to do with the politics of retail than placing Blame on Sam or Bud, Nice try though
