Yes and in front of a bunch of ppl and remembering lines with cameras in your face and you have to act as tho those lines are real, and that you actually feel them and or that it’s actually happening and has hurt you so much that you can just feel that pain and produce tears. Also doing emotion and sex scene with someone you’re not even with and make it look like you are. That’s what some ppl don’t get that shits not easy and I’m sure the ones that have been doing it longer it comes easier too! But still that not an easy task at all. That’s why the really good actress and actresses make the big bucks. Js

@@coryjohnson2486 that's what I mean, getting tears to come by thinking about something is crazy to me. Triggering actual emotion is insanely difficult for me.
With concern it's about using the right eyebrow/forehead muscles. Maybe the right tone of voice.
With happiness it's mostly about positive enthusiasm.
But being hurt emotionally, like being sad or maybe jealous. Those ones are confusing. Same with fear, I often confuse terror with fascination. Something about the eyes I think

It's the most hurtful when you love someone when you know you shouldn't. All your senses are telling you to stop but your heart doesn't stop and you're sure that you are gonna end up being broken and hurt but you can't stop it from happening .
This is how it was for me. 3 days ago we decided to only be friends and it completely broke me. He said I deserved better and I knew I should have listened to everyone who was warning me. I knew I could do better but I loved him and I still do. He broke me and I know he didn’t mean to, he did trying to protect me from his bad habits. I still love him and ik I should move on, but I don’t think he has either. Things are now awkward and I didn’t even have the heart to block him or anything. I could only ask to stay friends. I’ve known him for my whole life but we only really talked last year, and during that time he had a gf. We talked for 2 months prior to us being friends and in those 2 months we flirted, planed on him driving me to school, us hanging out, and even dated for a day before he needed time to think realizing that he rushed into it. And after thinking, he decided to be friends. Shit happens and it sucks, I would want to take it back, but I realized that he gave me something to look forward to, which was seeing him.

Julia is still acting! But most her roles are on like Amazon prime and paramount plus. She hasn’t don’t anything major, just shows for other platforms.
Her recents were last year, Orphan:First Kill on paramount plus and The lake on prime there’s also an anime she’s voicing. I think she’s just finding a new style to do than what we all fell in love with her for.

One of my favorite movies. I miss Heath Ledger
What's more amazing is when you find out nowhere in the script did it call for her to cry. That was REAL. Julia Stiles is soooo under-rated. Once the director played it back, he said he would have been a fool to do another take without the crying. It just made it so....more relatable for the tough girl character to let that mask slip even just a little. This movie would not be what it is had this scene been done even the slightest bit different. Bravo 👏

Both actors were amazing in this scene. Alot of people mostly relate to Julia Stiles here, but as someone whose been in Heath Ledgers position I'll say this, the moment reality sets in and you realize you're losing or you've lost someone that loves and cares for you deeply as a friend, as a partner, as a soulmate...there are no words for just how stupid and frightened you feel. Because that doesn't just come around everyday. So don't let pride and ego wall you off from connecting with someone who could change your entire outlook on life.

2000s teenage movies ❤ I miss the 2000s
I was in my twenties when this came out and I just bought it again on Blu Ray cause I love this movie so much. There were so many great teen movies In the 80's, 90's and very early 00's, there really hasn't been any memorable ones recently. I miss those days and Heath Ledger was such a fantastic actor and his death saddened me like not many celebrities deaths has. Brittany Murphy, Heath and the very young actor Anton Yelchin, who was crushed by his SUV, had an effect on me. I also long for the good old days of cinema. I just don't care for much these days.

We are so emotional when we are young. Life has a way of making us stronger with age.
It surely is worth getting over those emotional years.

@@Tuie1956Yup. It's called puberty. The older you become the more you have gone through. So we learn different ways to deal or cope with different situations. It does'nt necessarily make us less emotional. We just have been through more and have tougher skin. We also have more control over when and where we show our emotions.
Sorry not trying to be a dick but it's a 90's movie. Almost a 2000 movie but 1999 gets the honor. I remember when this first came out and was like who is this dude. It was amazing to watch him grow and how amazing he would be if he were still here. Julia also amazing and underrated. They were really good together in this.
Just makes me sad he’s not here anymore, father, husband friend and fine actor.

I know people laugh at me when I say that this is one of my favourite films, I’m 52, but this film ticked my boxes, happy bits, emotional bits, funny bits, ‘You’re just too good to be true!’ musical bits and making Shakespeare contemporary!
The two leads acted so well. Such talented young actors and as for Heath Ledger, gone too soon 😢
I agree! I also loved what a strong female character she played to perfection! This one scene that showed what she felt under all that strong, smart exterior made her more human.
