This is one of the best ESC songs ever!!! I'm from Serbia and I remember voting for it like a maniac... Guess who was the happiest man when Serbia gave Hungary 12pts that year (beside Maria's victory)... Thank you Hungary for having such an amazing artist... pure emotion!!! Hugs and kisses neighbours
She truly understands the Blues. This performance reminds me of an intimate club or smoke filled bar, just nursing the same drink for hours to enjoy the local live musician. This song is a real treasure.
@Different 1 How could Verka get more points than every song except Molitva? Yeah sure, Dancing Lasha Tumbai is good but there is like 20 better songs than Ukraine.
well hungary doesn't quite have the ally countries than other countries have with each other (uk and ireland, the nordics...) so no matter how well they do, they don't always have the relationship between others that solidifies points
OMG look at her hand at 02:10. I can't imagine what it feels like singing in front of the whole world, I would freak out. You can see she is really nervous and still she manages to sing perfectly. This woman has all my respect.
I don't think the reason why she is nervous is only because she sings in front of a public! I think it is because the tension she had, when she sang some moments before!
Fabulous! So emotional and powerful. I mean, that performance is just too big for words. An absolute masterpiece, and Hungary's best song since 1994. Should've been in winning contention.
I hope You and your loved ones are still alive and healthy! Wish to turn back time and save you all! God is with You all! Wishing all the best to Turkey !
I'm getiing goosebumps all over my body when she starts screaming! I think this is what a mastered skill of delivering an emotion looks like! This woman!
I love this song, a real break-up entry and Magdi performed brilliantly with her rough wonderful vocals and put so much emotion in it. You know the Scandinavians have great taste in music when they all gave Hungary high marks in both semifinal and final that year.
Aziza Alkan search for hungarian janis joplin, she indeed had a jj rendition on Hungarian Superstar back at the start of her career. It was outstanding.....
She was 2nd in the semi-final but 9th on the final, why? Along with Ukrainian entry, it was just an unbelievable!!! Greetings to our Hunnic brothers from Türkiye/Törökorszag ! 🇹🇷
This song is one of the best ever Eurovision songs ever made. I still do not understand why it did not win back in 2007 - and why so few could see the quality of it. It should have won instead of 9th place. I still listen to it today from time to time (2024). I hardly never listen to any other Eurovision songs. The winner was OK - with all due respect to Marija Šerifović, who is a really good singer. But this song was just way better and Magdi has an incredible voice and way to interpret the story of the song.
At the Semi-Final, Magdi Rúsza managed to reach the second place behind Marija Marija Šerifović, receiving 3 times 12 points (from Denmark, Iceland and Serbia).

Laki Srb by the way she was born in Serbia (Vojvodina part)
No explosions, no fireworks....just pure singing! Great stuff!
Salvador Approved
The day it was still About good vocals and good music. Look at the last eurovision, that was bad. Realy bad music.
She truly understands the Blues. This performance reminds me of an intimate club or smoke filled bar, just nursing the same drink for hours to enjoy the local live musician. This song is a real treasure.
I agree 100% and love the song! I should just point out it's an intimate club or smoke filled bar, with a bus stop right in the middle... :)
This song is the reason I got into Eurovision. It's not only a wild and fun party, but man, it has some incredibly serious and beautiful music.
A lot of people will say it is boring but in my opinion this is just BEAUTIFUL. Magdi has great vocal abilities! ❤
And great composing abilities, she composed the song herself, that's piano, drums, guitar and bass all by her!!
Anyone in 2020? I was 18 in 2007, this blew away my tiny mind, always come back. Brill voice,
It's 2024 and I remember this song at least once a year. That's a great song and I love it in Hungarian as well
Only 9th place for this masterpiece??? This deserved to be top 3 along with Serbia and Georgia.
I agree with you as well. :) Serbia, Georgia and this little gem.

Actually it's in front of the whole Europe

One of the best vocal moments from ESC history!
She should been on 3rd place that year!
Why not 1st
Best vocal moment in the history of a singing contest than only 3rd place? You are contradicting yourself.

10 years and still as good as it was back then
still listening to this masterpiece in 2022 :’) one of my favorite eurovision songs and performances ever. sending loves from turkey to hungary❤️
I hope You and your loved ones are still alive and healthy! Wish to turn back time and save you all! God is with You all! Wishing all the best to Turkey !
I still catch myself singing this song unconsciously from time to time ❤

Still one of my favourite Eurovision enrties
17 years later, still the best performance ever in Eurovision.
Still watching 2024. Absolute tune.
Beautiful. One of the best esc songs.... ever! Both Magdolna and her voice are stunning!
OMG! I've never heard this song before... I'm crying, it's beautiful! ❤
Still can't understand, how this song did not win in 2007... such a true gem 🧡
Absolute masterpiece with gorgeous staging and atmosphere and near flawless vocals. The best entry from '07 without a doubt.
A 2007-es Euróvízió legjobb dala!
So great and powerful! Wish Eurovision will have more songs like this one!
Omg it's one of the most emotional performances I've ever seen 😭❤
Such an amazing and soulful song, so unique and memorable.
My favourite Eurovision song of all times.
If ever there was a Salvador Sobral-approved Eurovision song, this is surely it.

This song is beautiful. A perfect piece to listen in rainy days.
Pleasant, a nice retro style of 60s-70s. Like Janis Joplin.

I watched the Eurovisions back in the 2007 but I truly found this beautiful masterpiece just today. Oh my god. ❤

Tesekkür ederim Hun kardesler! :)
Because of the unfair rule during which the top ten from the last year gets automatically qualified... Hopefully it lasted only 4 years
such a sweet song, could be great winning song
Best Hungarian entry, followed my Kedvesem. Great songs! ❤️
She should have won! And the video is a masterpiece IMHO, do watch if you haven't already.
She was underrated btw. Should have ended top 5
This is one of my favorite songs from Hungary. I'm still upset it didn't get a better place.
like a rock song from 80's i really like it
Those vocals!!!
In those years, we were very important to Eurovision in Turkey and I was fascinated when I listened to this song live.
This song still gives me emotion all these years later ❤️❤️❤️🥹🥹
one of the most emotional songs of this year... well done Magdi!!
Very good❤ voice is😍 amazing and cute end perfect👍 from Greece 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

the best song from hungary so far
Proud of this girl from Kishegyes!
Best Hungarian entry ever. So special.
I remember as a kid this song brought me Car movie vibes and it was my favorite movie so i loved this song and still am.

i DON´T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS SONG NOT MAKE IT!!! IT´S BEAUTIFUL
What do you mean "Not make it"??? She qualified 2nd in the semi-final and 9th in the final (deserved top 3 definitely)
Love this - hungary always bring it
The fact that this song could be in the top 3 under the 50-50 system just pisses me off, she deserved that
The only ESC song from this century that is still stuck in my head. Bad taste sent this melodic blues ballad into oblivion.
This is just too good for Eurovision 🥰🎶
An absolute winnersong ❤
Magdinak ez a stilus a legjobb!! Most is ilyeneket kéne énekelnie, sokkal jobban illik a hangjához...! Érthetetlen hogy nem nyert ezzel!
Ji neįtikėtina. Love.
Just Amazing.
I bet if there had been juries in 2007, this song would've probably been in the top 5.
I Love it until now!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Imádom!!!!!!

Second in semifinal! Impressive!
Super
Happy birthday Magdi!

Magistral, soberbia, estupenda. Mereció una posición mucho más alta
Hungary, home of the blues. Who knew?

No need for pyrotechnics...
At the end of the video between the audience, is it Katee Sackhoff sitting and applausing or not? 😳😄

Just found out she was born in Serbia! That is quite ironic in the year Serbia won!
But not serbian
@@unikornisbebi2045 No, she is ethnically Hungarian! Born in Vojvodina, the autonomous part of Serbia! But there is clip of her singing in Serbian..
