Her voice isn't as dissipated as people say it is, she's really only having trouble with her belts- and that's because of her nodules- everything else is still amazing.
Completely live, you can hear imperfections in the runs and sustains, she also changes the melody a little bit, and the emphasis on certain words here and there. Very cool!

I think it's almost entirely live. A lot of the phrasing is different. But mainly because you can hear her struggle at certain points. Ultimately she nails it, incredible performance.
That was amazing ! You can hear if you listen close at the end of her last whistle she said ''Jesus'' that's awesome.
chyea 110% live. those that are saying she sounded flat, what you are hearing are the fans trying to imitate. the ending is way different than the studio and other live performances. she never nailed the Jesus part like this performance.
FINALLY! this one is 99% live except the "I need you 2 come by & carry me higher Lord" part though. Wow even the whistle parts are sung live, and i can also see confidence in these notes! nice job Mimi!

Mariah obviously still has it as shown in this clip. Sure, there may be some rasp and signs of vocal strain, but all in all, Mariah can still perform and sing live very well. I just don't understand why she feels the need to lip sync so often lately. Her talent is still all there and it's a damn shame that she hides it behind the playback.

Long Tran Quoc I actually am a fan of Mariah Carey. Her voice is phenomenal. But lets face it. Her voice is starting to dissipate and she can't do certain things with her voice like she used to.

IT's the nodes on her vocal chords.. They make her voice "sometimezy" She has no faith in it when she sings in major performances.. Severe performance anxiety greatly affects the vocal chords..

I honestly don't think Mariah's voice have it enough to sing this song anymore, at least sing it and do it justice.
