Love the shots of the dog just doing random goofy things in the background reminds me of mine when we go out. Very well put together video. I appreciate all the work that went into it. has got a relaxing vibe that I dig.
Nice cam nice dog nice knife! I love my k1 which is basically the same knife with different blade and handle finish! Keep it up ill sub to get you going.
Only thing that is same, is the profile of the handle shape. K1 has a different saber grind blade, with lower normal style saber, than the Southpole. The blade thickness is 3.5 on the K1 and 4.5 on the Southpole. The length of the blade is also different, 99mm on K1, 115mm on the Southpole. overall length 214mm K1, 235mm on the Southpole. Handle length and width is als different and hollow pins construction vs screw pin on the Southpole. The finnish is also different. I guess they just kept the succefull profie shape, that made them famous and they put it as it is on the South Pole.

Hey, i would like to ask some questions about the knife. Can you scrape a firesteel with the back? Also how long is the Blade from the beginning of the grip to the point?
No, you cannot scratch a firesteel with the back. The back is rounded. The total length is 234 mm. Personally, I don't like scratching the firesteel with my knives, because it leaves magnesium deposits on the blade ...
I have this knife and you definitely can strike a fire steel with the back. I’ve done it many times. They made the knife in a way that allows you to strike a fire steel but not hurt your thumb when you push against the spine of the blade.
When you look at it you clearly see that spine is rounded. I usually make sparks with scraper but still I love that feature, just in case. This knife does not have that and that's why I'm not planing to buy it. For example, every LT Wright knife have sharp spine.
Yes it is the gransfors wildlife (34cm; 600g) I love it, it fits in a backpack ... The MSR of the video is a 1600mL (550g) but now I use an 1100mL (440g) . The dog thanks you.

Bien hecho amigo 🔪👌
It's so nice I wouldn't want to use it
