What about IVA resettlement loans? Im 3 years into an IVA with no missed payments and have been offered a lump sum to settle the IVA early. They tell me this will enable me to start building my credit earlier, even though the IVA itself will still remain on my file for another 3 years? Thanks.
Is the windfall payment only for the remaining debt from the debt that got wiped off? So if you owe £10,000 after a £30,000 wipe off is it only for the £10,000 the windfall. Also what’s the average percentage they wipe off?
Hi, My IVA has completed and I have a certificate. I have emailed Equifax and the other creditors, on my report it still shows my creditors are showing in default. Do I need to contact them individually to close it or will that be done automatically?
