I was always listening to this song as a teenager when I dreamt of moving to London, away from my home country and away from my old life. I always associated this song with a new life in London. I am still not sure why. Now I live 1 1/2 years in London and recently I was at Waterloo station where a man sat at a Piano, and guess what he was playing! ♥️

Life had different plans and I, like you, ended up in London where I got married and I found the joy of living a life I never thought I could. I started playing piano and even though I started at 27 yo and I'm still at the very beggining, I decide to take the best of this life and enjoy it cause today it's a gift and not everyone has the opportunity to leave everything and move in a place where they can find themselves, where they can find the joy of living a life worthy of being lived. ♥️♥️♥️

Two years ago I saw a video on instagram of someone (that I don’t know very closely) playing this melody. I couldn’t get it out of my head. I asked everyone I knew and tried to Shazam it but no matter what I did I couldn’t find the name of the song. I was so disappointed. Today, I was in a class with a big piano inside. A girl from my class sat there and started playing. I was so excited because I thought I will never hear this song again and started to cry because of how beautiful this song is, just makes you fell so complete in a really weird way. I would say you can actually hear your life passing in front of you .I’m so glad I finally found it:)
I found myself in a similar situation... never found the song for years upon years... in 2019 I found it through some TV show and I happen to hear the name of it too. Never was I so happy!

I just noticed while playing this wonderful music via phone, that my budgie birds just went very quiet and listened intently. Usually they tend to be very happy and noisey fellas, but this music simply made them listen while enjoying it quietly. Wow. Its just amazing how powerful music can be.
Perspective are so weird. Like this music is some minutes long and it felt like so for you, but for bird who have a shorter lifetime, it may have felt like a day or a week of music in their space. For a fly that lives one day, that may have been a whole season of harmonous music in its life.

i learn it in 6 days, but the fast part is very hard, and it takes time. Also i learn it from youtube tutorial, and none of them has a original version. After the fast part it just ends, the continuation like in this version, you have the sheets on the internet. :))

Je reviens ce soir de l'audition de piano d'une de mes filles (papa etait trop fier d'elle 😊)... et parmi les élèves qui passaient une petite 6ème qui a présenté 3 morceaux dont le dernier étant ce chef d'oeuvre de Yann Tiersen... inutile de vous dire l'émotion quil y avait dans cette petite salle lorsqu'elle a commencé à jouer... et moi bien placé devant la mini artiste qui vivait le morceau et ne faisait qu'un avec le piano... jen ai eu des frissons et limite les larmes aux yeux... bravo à toi mademoiselle !!! 👏👏👏 Petite anecdote de rien du tout mais que je me devais de raconter... 😉
isn't it funny how just a piece of music can make you remember the tiniest memories and details you never thought you would be able to remember ? like when you first took your walk under the rain or when you first swam on your own when you first got a dog first tried to bake something first time you had a fight with someone close to you and when you first made up , how this fight chaged to for the better and how you learned to appreciate things for what they are not what they can be . . . it's been years since this movie came out and still this piece of music never failed to me make nostalgic to a time when life was simpler and definitely more human.

I've never seen the movie, but when it was out on DVD i was a heroin and crack addict. i remember shoplifting a few DVD's of this movie, i saw the thumbnail to this and clicked and i cant put into words how it made me feel, it remained me of a good friend i lost, the bad times i had at that time in my life, but there was also some good times. I've been clean for just over 4 years, i put all of myself into the music i write and got a 2 year contract with a studio and release 2 singles. Music is a amazing healer, thank you for uploading. For instance, i would go and get a bag of B (heroin) and my dealer would said he's got some really good white (crack) and gives you a tester bag. After a while heroin doesn't get you as high as it once did, your just getting it to feel normal, and to keep off withdrawal, so you start smoking crack. when i smoked it was £10 or £20 bags, nowadays it's got really bad in London, it's as little as £5 bags, and 15 to 30 min phone call away.

Das tut mir sehr leid, dabei ist Krebs doch so leicht heilbar, allerdings nicht mit der Pharmamafia, die nur auf Profit und Wachstum aus ist. Mit der Chemo stirbt man eher, als das sie etwas heilen würde, 7% Erfolgschance sprechen für sich. Heilung gibts bei der Schulmedizin sowieso nicht wirklich.

i learn it in 6 days, but the fast part is very hard, and it takes time. Also i learn it from youtube tutorial, and none of them has a original version. After the fast part it just ends, the continuation like in this version, you have the sheets on the internet. :))

I've been clean for just over 4 years, i put all of myself into the music i write and got a 2 year contract with a studio and release 2 singles. Music is a amazing healer, thank you for uploading. R.I.P Christopher Slow, passed away on the 21/7/2000 he was 19years old.

For instance, i would go and get a bag of B (heroin) and my dealer would said he's got some really good white (crack) and gives you a tester bag. After a while heroin doesn't get you as high as it once did, your just getting it to feel normal, and to keep off withdrawal, so you start smoking crack. when i smoked it was £10 or £20 bags, nowadays it's got really bad in London, it's as little as £5 bags, and 15 to 30 min phone call away.

Eines der wunderschönsten Lieder die es gibt. Es ist so faszinierend und unbeschreiblich. Es kommen so viele Gefühle hoch. Gute aber auch schlechte. Ich könnte das Lied Tag und Nacht hören ohne das es mich irgendwann nervt. Auch wenn die Augen nicht tränen, innerlich muss man einfach weinen

Es verursacht, egal wie oft ich es höre, Gänsehaut. Es wird neben Elise einer der Songs, die auf meiner Beerdigung gespielt wird. Er ist so dermaßen phantastisch, dass mir auch nach 1000 mal hören immer noch Tränen in die Augen schießen.

Einfach unglaublich! Ich weine immer und bin zugleich fröhlich. Dieses Lied war das Lieblingslied meines Opas der vor einem Jahr an Krebs starb er sagte zu mir als er nur noch die letzten Minuten seines Lebens hatte, dass ich dieses Lied anmachen soll, ich hab es ihm angemacht, wärend des Liedes umarmten wir uns, er sagte noch zu mir: Vergiss dieses Lied nie glaube immer an es und denk an mich wenn du es hörst! Dann starb er in meinen Armen😭😢! Seit dem höre ich dieses Lied jeden Abend und wenn ich Zeit hab, ich summe mit singe meinen Text denn ich für meinen Opa dazu geschrieben hab. Ich werde ihn nie vergessen und immer an dieses Lied glauben!❤

Das tut mir sehr leid, dabei ist Krebs doch so leicht heilbar, allerdings nicht mit der Pharmamafia, die nur auf Profit und Wachstum aus ist. Mit der Chemo stirbt man eher, als das sie etwas heilen würde, 7% Erfolgschance sprechen für sich. Heilung gibts bei der Schulmedizin sowieso nicht wirklich.

Je n'ai jamais vu le film, mais j'adore écouter cette musique.
Quand je vois tous ces commentaires qui viennent du monde entier, je me dis que la musique est la première langue universelle.
ctdoncmoi je te conseille fortement de le voir alors ! Je l ai personnellement découvert récemment et je peux te certifier qu'il il est aussi beau et poétique que les musiques qui l'accompagnent !
