This shows a Macro that allows you to set the Z0 Height to either the top of the part of the top of the spoil board and any subsequent tool changes will reference the initial Z0

Hello Clint I downloaded your macro and placed it in the directory. I setup the tool G28 tool change position. What else do I need to do to get this work.

I am looking to abandon Mach 3. I use a custom macro to do exactly what you do here. Did you write this macro yourself or is it built in? Centroid is looking promising but losing control of my dozens of custom macros is a big concern to me. Thanks.

I modified an existing macro. If you wrote custom macros for Mach3 the switch won't be a big deal for you. there is a lot of info on the Centroid Acorn forums, you should join and ask questions. I switched from Mach3, all of the quirky issues with Mach3 are gone.
