40 minutes from the queen Soph! You’re so calming and peaceful and you’re one of the sweetest people on RUclips and I LOVE hearing you talk and spending the week with you 🥰🩷 x
You explained it so nicely Sophie! The way we feel on the inside will always reflect on the outside. I hope your neck is all better ❤ I really love how you have a cozy book club with your girls! I wish I would talk about books with my friends 😂
this weekly vlog was EVERYTHING. yours always are. you're in for a RIDE with the shatter me series. it was originally meant to be a trilogy but i think theres now 5 or 6 books with a few of novellas. hope u love it xxx
Ahh love this! Watched Georgias vlog this morning whilst getting ready and now watched your vlog whilst getting unready (or rather getting ready for bed haha) ✨🩷 sending lots of love from Germany xx 🫶 hope you have a great week!
I feel the absolute same about you Australians every time you’re enjoying your summer and we’re in Europe in freezing cold weather but somehow I feel like you are always ahead of us, it’s like you guys set all the trends because you’ve been through the season first 😂 maybe it’s just in my head? I’m not sure if this is making any sense Anyway, I loved the vlog as always. It always feels like we’re hanging out with you 🫶🏼
Ahh Sophie!! I love this so much and I’m so obsessed with your content. You are so inspirational and so authentic and I love that about you. Thank you for sharing your day to day life with us and I love seeing what you do in your life. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Grew up in the Midwest of the US…my area did not have hot cross buns, however we did have a nursery rhyme about them. I know what they are from the Great British Bake Off though! I may have to give a try at baking them after seeing your creations. They looked delicious.
yes we have hot cross buns in the UK ❤ they are very popular and common to have around Easter 🐰🥰 I haven't seen Biscoff ones anywhere in shops though! Might need your recipe as I am a BIG biscoff lover 💕
Hey Soph ❤ I was watching your vlog as I was making my lunch in the kitchen and my mum walked past and commented on how stunning you were, she said you looked ‘fresh’. Hope that brightens your day because your new videos brighten mine ❤❤❤❤
never heard of cross buns but could be because i'm from germany. soph the tandem read is so worth it because the last book is incredibly good!! and the new pillows look amazing!!
Canadian here! Yes! We also have Hot Cross Buns, I grew up eating them and my mom always makes them, but you inspired me to make my own for the first time this year🫶🏻🐇🐣
I haven’t watched yet but uploads form you and Georgia on the same day? Iconic. 40 mins???? Even more iconic. All the love always. Have the best week ❤❤❤❤ edited to add that I saved this to watch whilst I’m nap trapped and yes we do have hot cross buns in the UK, they’re pretty big over here!
I‘m from Germany but lived in Australia for three years and am missing hot cross buns ever since on Easter! So are just a cinnamony dream! Love your videos, they‘re definitely part of my feel good content ❤️
love the darker colours on you in that clip, but then you also look stunning in brighter colours as well! It can be hard to tell what the best colours are because I think they can be situational and also totally different depending on hair and makeup :) I loved the burgundy on you though! that is deffs one of your colours!
Between you & Rach, I have loved getting back into reading. Thank you for inspiring me to get back into reading. More specifically, I have loved reading Magnolia Parks Universe and Fantasy Books
Uk person - hot cross buns are a massive tradition here - but biscoff was new for me and my little nieces LOVED the ones I made so thank you for the inspiration
Commenting early into the video but I saw you picked up The Serpent & the Wings of Night & that was one of my FAVOURITE books last year. It’s honestly so good I’m so excited to see you read it
I’ve had the neck thing happen to me a few times and it’s truly the worst feeling 😭 I found sleeping with a hot water bottle on my neck helped, and sleeping kind of propped up on my pillow, but no painkillers would even touch the pain of it! Hope it feels better soon 🤞🏻
In the UK, hot cross buns are very popular at Easter! All the supermarkets do loads of different ones (chocolate, caramel, blueberry etc). Love them! 🤤
You know, even I'm emerging from my "uglies" days and I know it can be a struggle, but your video definitely made it better, so thank you! 💖 Hope you are doing good now. Sending lots of love and support your way! 🌈
hot cross buns are the best thing about this time of year, we have so many flavours including choc, caramel and cheese ones!! you posting makes my day xxxx
I love Easter so much too!! 🐣💛Unfortunately wasn’t able to see family this year due to being sick. But seeing you celebrate it with friends for the past years made me want to have a friend group like that too! always look so cosy 💗. Also: I never heard of hot cross buns before you showing them lol, I’m from the Netherlands.
Sophie I am watching your vlogs since 2019 and I am always always looking forward to your new vlogs so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you have an amazing week ahead💓💓✨✨
Ahhh I LOVED Shatter Me. Ignite me was my favourite and 5 star read. The Shatter me series has technically 11 parts (6 novels + 5 novellas (split across 3 books)!!! The novellas are read inbetween the novels and give some important info and insight so I would recommend buying the whole series!! Full reading order is on goodreads too. You will want to binge it and it's sooo easy to read (i read it all in 4 days) 🩷
Also the TOG tandem read was my favourite book experience ever.. I have never enjoyed reading so much. If you can get some sticky notes and map out the chapters before hand it's SO easy to read and not scary at all. Was kicking my feet, giggling and screaming the whole time. 10/10 experience, tandem reading is so fun
@@SophieJayne I hope you enjoy 🫶🏼 if you’re unsure on anything I’ve got a few videos on my booktok about both series & the reading orders @whatemmyreads ❤️
Hey hun - Hot Cross Buns originate from the UK, from the 14th century if I remember well, it is a British thing that I believe got somewhat transferred over to Oz in 19-20th centuries 😊 We have them in England - lots and lots around Easter 🐣 (millions of versions too - yummmmm 😊😊😊)
Yesss a long vlog I love this ❤️ I absolutely agree with what you said about ugliness being a mental thing as well! It’s a confidence thing for me, when I feel well I socially interact differently! Btw wanted to ask what happened to future you? Are you still having your business?
I recommend- The lost flowers of Alice Hart, if you haven't read it. I also discovered it has a mini tv series after I finished the book which was super fun to watch and compare and see the characters.
As a South African who moved to the US, we had them growing up but I have never seen a hot cross bun in the US, unless you go to international markets!
Hi Sophie. I didn't do the tandem read, I read each book separately and found it was a much less stressful way to progress through the series haha :) Also, the Shatter Me series is AMAZING, I'm sure you'll love it. The hot x buns you made looked yum. Would you be able to share the recipe please :) Hope your neck feels better soon x
My advice on the tandem read is to NOT read it in tandem. Read them in order of publication. I enjoyed each of them so much, but I’ve noticed that people who have read them in tandem do not seem to enjoy it as much because it’s just too much all at once.
I loved this vlog, just wanted to tell you one thing, the shatter me series is a series of 10 books, not a really easy read but definitely a 5 star read for me. Please let us know your thoughts on it I would love to see it!❤
If you like a cozy murder mystery, you neeeeeed to read the Thursday Murder Club books! They're about a group of elderly residents in a retirement village in the UK solving murders. Highly highly recommended!!!
40 minutes from the queen Soph! You’re so calming and peaceful and you’re one of the sweetest people on RUclips and I LOVE hearing you talk and spending the week with you 🥰🩷 x
