I like how this actually show Afton having regrets for his actions I noticed that when he patted Elizabeth’s head after she broke out of her suit instead of attacking her dad she just smiled and let him pat her head it seems in this video Springtrap wants to save his family and be free

Afton is a smart ass psychopath but after losing elizabeth he went crazy and determined to get her. Then he watches cassiday die another son death springtrap is terrified sad and very angry
Same this is literally following the rule of how to make a character sympathetic if not downright relatable brutalizing him and showing that he if not fixes at least regrets the bad things he’s done heck this might be the story where he killed the children to bring his son back which in my opinion was a better story writing that Scott should’ve kept

And then, by accident, Circus Baby killed Elizabeth. (Btw, William didn't allow Elizabeth to get close to these animatronics, so he really carried about his daughter's safety)
I swear William Afton is one of those villians where you have to hate him, but instead you just feel sorry for him. I think the one part in this vid where he bangs on the glass while his son is about to die really illustrates that.
William Afton is definitely one of the most complex villains within a story. William Afton has done terrible things and things that are quite unforgivable but he was also at one point a family man. A man who had a wife as well 3 children he cared about a family he tragically lost due to him losing his sanity when 2 of his youngest children died, as well as his friendship/partnership with Henry fell apart and became the monster we all know him to be within the story. He's a character of true tragedy and that's definitely one of the biggest reasons why I love fnaf soo much. Scott is a true genius. As for the music video well done.

Despite all of William's terrible actions, in some ways he can be understood. But the way he doubts at the end whether he can really go back to his family is very touching and brings out emotions. The Aftons truly have an extremely tragic story.
I really liked how you included Micheal as one of the people / animatronics that seek him because William (who later becomes spring trap ect) would blame him for his siblings death which resulted in him dying himself by following a task that William asked to do. It shows him seeking revenge which I find really interesting

I really like this story and animation behind this. William Afton constantly relives his torment and his regrets, and it's not until the end where he learns to care more and accept his family instead of neglecting them like in the games and such.
One of my Au characters named Quincy is very similar to William, but he is quite different. He lost him twin brother Gabriel to William when he was only 3 years and couldn’t understand what happened. He had four siblings and was only five years old at death due to springlock failure in Shadow Freddy. But instead of being so vengeful, he promised to protect his only remaining brother, which caused him to revive as his regular self alongside his sister and brother. He was also abused by William when trying to protect Michael, causing him to be blind and having a long scar on his face. And yes he is a Afton.

Rather than the cruel child killer he is, this portrays William as a loving father who is stuck as Springtrap in his regrets, reliving a hell he can't escape because of his own actions. But the thing I loved the most about this was that at the end of it all, he just wanted to be reunited with his family again, and he was in the end with that sweet 'Welcome back'. Amazing job on this animation!
Find this punishment for his deeds amazing, after being alone for so long and then rewatching his whole family die. Nothing he could do by then, it can change people sort of like how we see in fnaf 4 it's C.C reliving his death over and over again or it is at least hinted at by golden Fred bear. It doesn't justify him not even the slightest but the fact in a slow light we watch him gain a part of him through out the song is well versed. I dont know just thought this was amazingly well done between the story line and the amount of work that was put in.

I honestly believe he was a great father and even a great person at one point. My theory is that William Afton went insane after Elizabeth and C.C. died. Upon the death of the two youngest he probably saw it as unfair that his family went through so much suffering, therefore inflicting pain on other families in the same way. Some people wonder why he would do that to someone else when he knew how it felt. To put it simply: Insanity. Hence the line in the song “Lives they fell to pure insanity.” Finally, for the debate of if William hates Micheal. Personally I think that since Michael was part of the reason C.C. Died, William probably puts the blame on Micheal. And from that point everything just went downhill for everyone in the family.

wow, the animation is incredible, every detail, the fluidity of the materials, the fog, the settings, it is a production at the level of Disney and even more
William probably started out as a good normal person with a flair for mechanics and with a lovely wife and three children who he loved. He and his friend decided to combine their talents to make a resturant of animatronics, where their kids could play and enjoy themselves. But William focused on his work a lot, to maintain the great hopes he had, same as his friend Henry. Tragically, he lost his first kid with circus baby, then also the crying kid, leaving him nothing left but his oldest kid who shoved the kid into the mouth, causing hatred and blame destroying the family while his wife either died or left him, and in grief he then killed Henrys daughter who was outside, seeing it unfair Henry should be blissfully happy with his kids alive.At that, I think he realised there was no turning back. And in his grief, he also infused the soul of his wife into Ballora, his perfect ballerina, believing he could bring the family back. Eventually when the springlock failure occurred, I think that is when he regretted it all, and his thoughts were of his wish to have his family back and happy, and that is why Michael was sent to the Sister location, likely William wanted him to free the souls of Elizabeth and his wife, by destroying the animatronics, but another tragic fate, Michael is scooped out and made into a hidious living corpse by his own sister.

You will find that there is the sound of Circus Baby and she was the one who tried to guide him to that room to kill him. This means that her killing of Michael was planned. Circus Baby means Elizabeth Afton. We can confirm that her eye color changed from blue to green after the death of Elizabeth Afton. Elizabeth is Michael's littel sister This means she killed her brother But I do not know or expect that she knew this is michael because she was treating him as if he were a stranger and trying to do his job and then leaving. William always cared for his family he even cares for Michael but since Michael got Chris killed from fredbear William got mad at henry and Michael because henry created the animatronic so William killed henrys daughter, but he had no intentions of killing Michael though.
This feels like a good take on william, after he had been almost dead for 30 years with nothing but hit thoughts, he is finally starting to understand the wrong in his actions and regretting deeply what he jas done, but has no choice but to keep going at the peak of mental insanity and constant pain, physical and mental, he just wants to go home and let everyone rest, but the children have other ideas, they feel like getting stabbed and punctured a thousand times, feeling getting stuffed into a suit(they didn't feel that part) and being left to rot feeling that pain for over 30 years, and then being burnt after isn't enough, i mean i get that he killed you but jeez just move on to the afterlife and let fate decide the rest for him.
If anything, baby’s body parts looked so confusing that I didn’t understand what was happening for a few seconds to even be scared🗿but in the end it didn’t scare me
Seeing Springtrap (or William as I still see him) looking genuinely scared of Circus Baby, with the hand over his face was certainly an unexpected sight, it shows a very vulnerable side to him
I love that he's been taunted by his family: Golden Freddy - Crying Child Circus Baby - Elizabeth Ballora - Mrs Afton Kid with foxy mask - Michael It adds to the tragedy of him
Though we still may never know why William did it, at least the rest of his family got to move on. Though the amalgamation of animatronics appeared to have killed Burntrap, there’s no doubt William will come back. After all, there still may be a while cult to Afton that may bring him back. Glitchtrap may be anywhere. As long as the main antagonist keeps coming back, the series may never end.
The crying child ( his son ) died to fredbear, his daughter died to CB, and his wife was killed by him and put into ballora. So no, I doubt they moved on.
I can’t help but think that William/Springtrap has already suffered a punishment - he deserves his piece and yet he continues to suffer. I like that at the end of this animation, he finally gets peace with the ones he lost. Yes, I know what everyone is thinking while reading this: he murdered many children, and to that I say: William Afton suffered his punishment - he deserves peace and to see his family together once more.
Like all the other comments said, William unfortunately doesn't seem to be regretting any of his actions which is kind of a shame. IDK maybe they'll give him a redemption arc someday eventually but until then I'll just stick to Super FNAF for William having a redemption arc. There's also a fanfic by Tenebrae Vesper called Salvaged and if you like William redeeming himself, you should go check that fic out.
This one is definitely my favourite out of the other Afton Family animations you've done! I love how you made Springtrap get to experience the tragic events of what happened to his children! all the ideas were really enjoyable to watch, a couple of shots did feel like they were either rushed or you just didn't have any ideas for it...but this genuinely was an amazing animation! probably my favourite animation on this remix! awesome work man! :D

@@maaabill6381 yeah, while he left her abandoned to be electrocuted and trapped under that establishment, never tried to free her soul, when they saw each other again in FNAF 6, he was more fascinated of what they become than seeing her again, he cared so much about her that he took her to a restaurant with killing machines and instead of keeping her with him, he just said “stay away from her”, such a caring father.
I love how that William was looking for redemption, was trying to show that he was truly sorry, and was showing regret for his actions in the past! YOU DID SUCH A AMAZING JOB!
I love how they portrayed Micheal as Foxy when C.C was being put into the mouth of Golden Freddy! That was actually clever. And the fact it was told from the view of Spring/Afton made it 100x better because you start to feel bad.
this is the william afton I like to theorize about. him actually caring for his kids and regretting what he did in the past, and not just fans theorizing he was a shitty dad and didn't care for his kids. If he didn't care for his kids he wouldn't have them, I think his work got to his head and just made him so focused on it, that he was oblivious to the deaths of his own kids.
I would say he is a caring dad cause he always tried to keep them away from the animatronics. The kids just found a way to be alone and get killed by them.

This is absolutely amazing!!! I love it! The original storyline presented in here was very well done even though it was simple. Springtrap feels actually real in this animation, his movements and expressions are very awesome. Same for the other characters' movements and the camera movements. Lighting also looks great in my opinion. Most of the ideas here are well done, but some scenes feel slightly empty with the lack of characters and scenarios. Specifically the Bite of 83 scene, perhaps more human characters would have made the scene feel a bit more alive. But that's just a small nitpick. That ending was actually pretty heartwarming. Overall, amazing job on this animation.
I like the theory that William was a good father. I personally believe he loved all his children but something in his past maybe made him to mentally went insane. But even after that he understood his crimes and just wanted his family's soul to be in peace ( or at least i hope ) I think he hated Michael not just because he accidentally killed Evan/C.C but because Michael inherited William's look and was like a mirror in Will's eyes, He hated himself and Michael was another William ( they are my theories ) We don't have any informations about his past and how was his childhood like.ع

Holy moly, what an ending. That is what you call an expectation subversion. I was so expecting Cassidy to be waiting for him, so to see his family chilling and waiting for him in front of the fireplace/TV, and for Michael to even wave when they see him, that was so nice! (In hindsight, it makes sense. It was all building up to it. But I still wasn't expecting it.)
Ya know, this whole video kinda makes William seem like the victim. He is not the victim. Cassidy very well should have been waiting for him. He doesn’t deserve a family after destroying so many other families INCLUDING HIS OWN. Golden Freddy can torture him forever for all I care

Afton witnessing his sons death was just sad he actually regrets everything he did and truly wanted his family to have a good life and he even knew he was a horrible father and wish he was better and was in there in time which is heartbreaking since he was not in time to save his family

I love how you just broke down Afton’s mind, as to making him feel guilty enough to plead for Fredbear to let him rest, and his “inner peace” symbolizing what could have happened if he stood to the path of righteousness rather than straying away and becoming satan himself.
Bro I gotta admit, of your three Afton Family MVs, this is my favourite. I appreciate how the others harness the true insanity of William, and the editing was awesome but this one is a MASSIVE step upwards! I think your animations have developed and they look so FRIGGIN AWESOME! I also appreciate the story line. I only just researched the FNAF timeline, and this one is SO clear, I can understand the emotions, thoughts and actions of the characters. I think the fact you touched on the fatherly side of William and his regrets was very intuitive. I am so impressed, keep it up!
Alright so.. This animation was absolutely beautiful, I love how you packed if full with action and there weren't really any "boring" parts in this. You choose amazing positions for the cameras which gave it a really good cinematic feeling. Overall, this is very amazing and just very well done!
Although what William Afton did was horrible and repulsive, I truly do believe that everyone has a bit of humanity left in them regardless of what they’ve done. Although I know he doesn’t really regret what he’s done, I know he is in agony and the only way he can deal with that is by pretending he’s confident in all he’s done.
William Afton is very clearly meant to be a psychopath. Psychopaths are incapable of feeling love towards anyone. They may keep people around if they can get something out of the relationship, but at the end of the day, they care about what you give them and not you as a person. I truly believe this is the case for game William Afton. Once you become useless to him, he will throw you away without any hesitation(take Baby for example. He literally locked her away and let others torture her in the form of electronic shocks. He only decides she’s worth anything when she decides that she wants to help him in his plans in the hopes that he will be proud of her afterwards. Not only that, if Vanessa really is meant to represent Elizabeth in Security Breach, William Afton manipulated her into testifying against her own mother so that he could make her look bad and gain custody of the children. None of his actions in game even remotely imply that he cares about anyone except himself. You can headcanon him as caring about his children if you’d like, but canon Afton just doesn’t.
He murdered 5 (and more) children, he didn't even know, went to lengths to create murder robots that consumed the life of his daughter and he turned a blind eye to the bite of '83', He destroyed the friendship between his business partner, Henry Emily, and even murdered his daughter in cold blood where there was no- one save her, not even the children who afton had bribed to stop the puppet to save charlie, He didn't care about the children deaths even Evan's death as well so i think deserved it, every ounce of it, yet what makes you think he should let off the chain a little. What you've said about having a little bit of humanity left is true but this demon doesn't have any. He got what he wished, to get away with murder and now, he always comes back.

And then, by accident, Circus Baby killed Elizabeth. (Btw, William didn't allow Elizabeth to get close to these animatronics, so he really carried about his daughter's safety)
I swear William Afton is one of those villians where you have to hate him, but instead you just feel sorry for him. I think the one part in this vid where he bangs on the glass while his son is about to die really illustrates that.
William Afton is definitely one of the most complex villains within a story. William Afton has done terrible things and things that are quite unforgivable but he was also at one point a family man. A man who had a wife as well 3 children he cared about a family he tragically lost due to him losing his sanity when 2 of his youngest children died, as well as his friendship/partnership with Henry fell apart and became the monster we all know him to be within the story. He's a character of true tragedy and that's definitely one of the biggest reasons why I love fnaf soo much. Scott is a true genius. As for the music video well done.

I really like this story and animation behind this.
William Afton constantly relives his torment and his regrets, and it's not until the end where he learns to care more and accept his family instead of neglecting them like in the games and such.
One of my Au characters named Quincy is very similar to William, but he is quite different. He lost him twin brother Gabriel to William when he was only 3 years and couldn’t understand what happened. He had four siblings and was only five years old at death due to springlock failure in Shadow Freddy. But instead of being so vengeful, he promised to protect his only remaining brother, which caused him to revive as his regular self alongside his sister and brother. He was also abused by William when trying to protect Michael, causing him to be blind and having a long scar on his face. And yes he is a Afton.

Rather than the cruel child killer he is, this portrays William as a loving father who is stuck as Springtrap in his regrets, reliving a hell he can't escape because of his own actions. But the thing I loved the most about this was that at the end of it all, he just wanted to be reunited with his family again, and he was in the end with that sweet 'Welcome back'. Amazing job on this animation!

Nothing he could do by then, it can change people sort of like how we see in fnaf 4 it's C.C reliving his death over and over again or it is at least hinted at by golden Fred bear. I honestly believe he was a great father and even a great person at one point. My theory is that William Afton went insane after Elizabeth and C.C. died. Upon the death of the two youngest he probably saw it as unfair that his family went through so much suffering, therefore inflicting pain on other families in the same way. Some people wonder why he would do that to someone else when he knew how it felt. To put it simply: Insanity. Hence the line in the song “Lives they fell to pure insanity.” Finally, for the debate of if William hates Micheal. Personally I think that since Michael was part of the reason C.C. Died, William probably puts the blame on Micheal. And from that point everything just went downhill for everyone in the family.

wow, the animation is incredible, every detail, the fluidity of the materials, the fog, the settings, it is a production at the level of Disney and even more
William probably started out as a good normal person with a flair for mechanics and with a lovely wife and three children who he loved. He and his friend decided to combine their talents to make a resturant of animatronics, where their kids could play and enjoy themselves. But William focused on his work a lot, to maintain the great hopes he had, same as his friend Henry. Tragically, he lost his first kid with circus baby, then also the crying kid, leaving him nothing left but his oldest kid who shoved the kid into the mouth, causing hatred and blame destroying the family while his wife either died or left him, and in grief he then killed Henrys daughter who was outside, seeing it unfair Henry should be blissfully happy with his kids alive.At that, I think he realised there was no turning back. And in his grief, he also infused the soul of his wife into Ballora, his perfect ballerina, believing he could bring the family back. Eventually when the springlock failure occurred, I think that is when he regretted it all, and his thoughts were of his wish to have his family back and happy, and that is why Michael was sent to the Sister location, likely William wanted him to free the souls of Elizabeth and his wife, by destroying the animatronics, but another tragic fate, Michael is scooped out and made into a hidious living corpse by his own sister.

Circus Baby means Elizabeth Afton. We can confirm that her eye color changed from blue to green after the death of Elizabeth Afton.
Elizabeth is Michael's littel sister
This means she killed her brother
But I do not know or expect that she knew this is michael because she was treating him as if he were a stranger and trying to do his job and then leaving.

William always cared for his family he even cares for Michael but since Michael got Chris killed from fredbear William got mad at henry and Michael because henry created the animatronic so William killed henrys daughter, but he had no intentions of killing Michael though.

This feels like a good take on william, after he had been almost dead for 30 years with nothing but hit thoughts, he is finally starting to understand the wrong in his actions and regretting deeply what he jas done, but has no choice but to keep going at the peak of mental insanity and constant pain, physical and mental, he just wants to go home and let everyone rest, but the children have other ideas, they feel like getting stabbed and punctured a thousand times, feeling getting stuffed into a suit(they didn't feel that part) and being left to rot feeling that pain for over 30 years, and then being burnt after isn't enough, i mean i get that he killed you but jeez just move on to the afterlife and let fate decide the rest for him.

Though we still may never know why William did it, at least the rest of his family got to move on. Though the amalgamation of animatronics appeared to have killed Burntrap, there’s no doubt William will come back. After all, there still may be a while cult to Afton that may bring him back. Glitchtrap may be anywhere. As long as the main antagonist keeps coming back, the series may never end.
The crying child ( his son ) died to fredbear, his daughter died to CB, and his wife was killed by him and put into ballora. So no, I doubt they moved on.

I can’t help but think that William/Springtrap has already suffered a punishment - he deserves his piece and yet he continues to suffer. I like that at the end of this animation, he finally gets peace with the ones he lost. Yes, I know what everyone is thinking while reading this: he murdered many children, and to that I say: William Afton suffered his punishment - he deserves peace and to see his family together once more.

@@maaabill6381 yeah, while he left her abandoned to be electrocuted and trapped under that establishment, never tried to free her soul, when they saw each other again in FNAF 6, he was more fascinated of what they become than seeing her again, he cared so much about her that he took her to a restaurant with killing machines and instead of keeping her with him, he just said “stay away from her”, such a caring father.
I love how that William was looking for redemption, was trying to show that he was truly sorry, and was showing regret for his actions in the past! YOU DID SUCH A AMAZING JOB!
I love how they portrayed Micheal as Foxy when C.C was being put into the mouth of Golden Freddy! That was actually clever. And the fact it was told from the view of Spring/Afton made it 100x better because you start to feel bad.

him actually caring for his kids and regretting what he did in the past, and not just fans theorizing he was a shitty dad and didn't care for his kids. If he didn't care for his kids he wouldn't have them, I think his work got to his head and just made him so focused on it, that he was oblivious to the deaths of his own kids.

I would say he is a caring dad cause he always tried to keep them away from the animatronics. The kids just found a way to be alone and get killed by them.

From what I understand, William always cared about his children (except Michael because he blames him for the death of the crying child and that’s the starting point of the downfall for him). When he started killing it was by revenge against Henry who built fredbear and when Elizabeth died and he discovered the remnant, he killed to understand better the remnants and bring back his kids

This is absolutely amazing!!! I love it!
The original storyline presented in here was very well done even though it was simple. Springtrap feels actually real in this animation, his movements and expressions are very awesome. Same for the other characters' movements and the camera movements. Lighting also looks great in my opinion. Most of the ideas here are well done, but some scenes feel slightly empty with the lack of characters and scenarios. Specifically the Bite of 83 scene, perhaps more human characters would have made the scene feel a bit more alive. But that's just a small nitpick. That ending was actually pretty heartwarming.

I like the theory that William was a good father. I personally believe he loved all his children but something in his past maybe made him to mentally went insane. But even after that he understood his crimes and just wanted his family's soul to be in peace ( or at least i hope ) I think he hated Michael not just because he accidentally killed Evan/C.C but because Michael inherited William's look and was like a mirror in Will's eyes, He hated himself and Michael was another William ( they are my theories ) We don't have any informations about his past and how was his childhood like.ع

Holy moly, what an ending. That is what you call an expectation subversion. I was so expecting Cassidy to be waiting for him, so to see his family chilling and waiting for him in front of the fireplace/TV, and for Michael to even wave when they see him, that was so nice!
(In hindsight, it makes sense. It was all building up to it. But I still wasn't expecting it.)

I love how you just broke down Afton’s mind, as to making him feel guilty enough to plead for Fredbear to let him rest, and his “inner peace” symbolizing what could have happened if he stood to the path of righteousness rather than straying away and becoming satan himself.
Bro I gotta admit, of your three Afton Family MVs, this is my favourite. I appreciate how the others harness the true insanity of William, and the editing was awesome but this one is a MASSIVE step upwards! I think your animations have developed and they look so FRIGGIN AWESOME! I also appreciate the story line. I only just researched the FNAF timeline, and this one is SO clear, I can understand the emotions, thoughts and actions of the characters. I think the fact you touched on the fatherly side of William and his regrets was very intuitive. I am so impressed, keep it up!

Although what William Afton did was horrible and repulsive, I truly do believe that everyone has a bit of humanity left in them regardless of what they’ve done. Although I know he doesn’t really regret what he’s done, I know he is in agony and the only way he can deal with that is by pretending he’s confident in all he’s done.
William Afton is very clearly meant to be a psychopath. Psychopaths are incapable of feeling love towards anyone. They may keep people around if they can get something out of the relationship, but at the end of the day, they care about what you give them and not you as a person. I truly believe this is the case for game William Afton. Once you become useless to him, he will throw you away without any hesitation(take Baby for example. He literally locked her away and let others torture her in the form of electronic shocks. He only decides she’s worth anything when she decides that she wants to help him in his plans in the hopes that he will be proud of her afterwards. Not only that, if Vanessa really is meant to represent Elizabeth in Security Breach, William Afton manipulated her into testifying against her own mother so that he could make her look bad and gain custody of the children. None of his actions in game even remotely imply that he cares about anyone except himself. You can headcanon him as caring about his children if you’d like, but canon Afton just doesn’t.

He murdered 5 (and more) children, he didn't even know, went to lengths to create murder robots that consumed the life of his daughter and he turned a blind eye to the bite of '83', He destroyed the friendship between his business partner, Henry Emily, and even murdered his daughter in cold blood where there was no- one save her, not even the children who afton had bribed to stop the puppet to save charlie, He didn't care about the children deaths even Evan's death as well so i think deserved it, every ounce of it, yet what makes you think he should let off the chain a little. What you've said about having a little bit of humanity left is true but this demon doesn't have any. He got what he wished, to get away with murder and now, he always comes back.
