I am an American Catholic but in 2012 I had the chance to visit Armenia and it is a tremendously beautiful country with a rich cultural and proud Christian heritage. Armenia is a small country and that is why its struggles seem to be ignored on the world stage. Please keep updating and promoting this story.
I am a Navy vet, having deployed all over the world, so I am really sad to hear about the persecution of Christians. Glad to know Ambassador Brownback is a great advocate for persecuted Christians. The situation in China is getting out of control, and the Vatican is naive about the situation. I watched the movie Sound of Freedom, which moved me to tears with shock and sadness. I could not fathom the magnitude of child sex trafficking in America. I thought this could only happen in China or North Korea. Thanks for shedding light on this dark evil. Human trafficking must be stopped. Mr Ballard has done much to warn the world about this insidious crime and Mr Caveziel is the top crusader in the cause.
So tragic the Armenian situation. Why aren’t other Christian nations standing up for them!

Armenia is in a bad situation right now. Russia is preoccupied with Ukraine and can’t help them. Meanwhile Azerbaijan is backed by Turkey and they are ready to attack Armenia.

Thank you so much for raising awareness about the imminent genocide of the Artsakh Armenians. The entire Christian world should be up in arms for the destruction of this ancient Armenian land that includes some of the oldest Christian monuments in the world. Artsakh was recognized as part of Armenia by the League of Nations in 1920 and was included in the borders of Wilsonian Armenia. Armenia's Western culture lead the Russians Turks and Azerbaijan to unite, invade it in 1920 and dividing up its lands. Artsakh was cut out of Armenia and put into SSR Azerbaijan. It announced its independence in 1991. America and the Western countries have to prevent this current genocide and stop the further usurpation of Armenian lands.

What USA and the rest of the West can do is , Stop talking !! Instead ACT, stop Azerbaijan !! The international community can do a lot !! God Bless Armenia and it's people.

That is not verified information, so I would be careful with my words. I believe Russia is the one who provided weapons, as it plays on their hand to put Armenia down to it's knees and achieve their joint russian-turkish dream. Remember who were the biggest players in the Armenian genocide - same players, Turkey and Russia and Germany. Now Germany is not in the picture but Russia and turkey have some unfinished, profitable business and Armenia is on the way. Look at the root, who benefits from this and it becomes obvious.

Only ordained Catholic Clergy must attend the Synod only after they have Celebrated the Holy Mass, spend time before our Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless Glory, begging the Divine Holy Spirit to guide their thinking and also prayed the Holy Holy Rosary. There is no such thing like Retired Priests, very, old,old grandparents are still looking after their children and grandchildren. Catholic Clergy give their whole lives only to God , they don't carry money or a spare tunic.
