How to fix Cannot open output file: Permission denied collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Solution:
- Disable the Antivirus

The antivirus might prevent the code to run. It deletes the .exe file. Thus, prompting us about the Permission denied error when we try to run it.

hello you can go to the ( windows security > virus threat protection > go to manage settings > add or remove exclusions) there you can add exception to the folder where your c file is located. hope it helpss
