I would bet that it's almost impossible to find lamb's liver in America, as we eat very little lamb. The tuna substitution was a great idea, but you could have used calves liver. That's what I used when I make chopped liver. Tell Ava happy birthday from an American fan!

We just got a 8 week old American Cocker Spaniel. He is a very light "buff". His name is Winston. He has a doggy brother who will be 2 on the 20 of October 2022. We've made dog sushi for decades. Every time we make sushi for people, we cook extra rice and make a special roll or two just for the pups. The pups get the same rice and crab we use in our rolls.

Joel, as you can see by serving Ava sushi you've made with several ingredients, your dog is actually an omnivore. If you're interested, there are plant based Vegan recipes you can give Ava which she'll love and are absolutely so much healthier for her, and you'll love them also!
I think you could give her more than one of the sushi .. I think it would take a lot of them to be dangerous .. If in doubt ask your vet .. It depends on her body weight

Lambs liver and hearts are a cheap meat and it is very nice so people are buying it because of the price of meat.
