I'm trying to find a larger, American-made wall safe equal to this quality, but no luck. If this safe could be built taller and/or deeper (same width), it would be perfect for me. Any suggestions?
Thank You, its probably best if I give.you the website as the price may change.. www.deansafe.com/products/stealth-wshd1414-heavy-duty-wall-safe Thanks for watching, John
Hi, I bought a home one week ago, it’s pretty old, but I bought it to restore it as my project. It has a very old furniture and a couple of interesting things. Also I found a wall safe (Mosler) hidden behind of the closet and I have no idea what is inside of it, I’m 100% sure there is something very valuable. Any idea about how can I open it??, or maybe an expert who can deal with this??
You will need to find a good safe tech in your area. Start by taking a few photos of the safes as that's the first thing he'll want to see. I will tell you most all of the "found safes" I've opened have been empty, but there's always a chance. Love to hear the outcome. Thanks, John
Assuming a UL listed lock, probably actually a safe that will keep somebody out longer than 60 seconds, but it will be a waste of time if it's installed the usual hack way with no reenforced concrete in the wall. Sawzall through the studs = out in 2 minutes. Big hammer to bust out the studs = a little longer with a whole lot more damage. Either way without being bolted into a wall full of reenforced concrete it's coming out in short order.
+Z B SnapSafe and most others will work fine for a 4”deep wall. But if you have a deeper wall and want to take advantage of the extra depth this safe is your best bet. This is Best value on extra deep wall safes available. Thanks much for the comment, John
Yes we can, we only stock one size, but the depth can be custom ordered. Just call us with the size you need so we can give you a quote for price and lead times. Thanks for watching,John
800$ for that safe I can think lot of other important things to spend that much money on especially the way the economy is going with everything gone sky high my money will help me buy the important things like food gas for the car & so on..
Hi Burt, I feel you, things are tight for many of us. Believe it or not we’re selling this and other safes faster than we can get them. Good luck to you and thanks much for your (factual) comment , John

LOL My money says the most valuable thing you're going to find in there is some old chewing gun wrappers.

If you've got two feet behind the wall stick a C or TL15 rated burglary and fire safe in there and concrete it in.
👍👍👍
