My mom is 69 who seen Elvis in concert, I told her to close her eyes and listen to this 16 year old singing Elvis, she smiled and said Okay. I put this on and in a few seconds looked back, Her eyes were closed with tears coming down her face. Proves something to me, Elvis is back

There are three things amazing about this.
He's only 16 and he's got that voice when singing.
David's primary language is French and his English while singing doesn't sound off at all.
He looks so natural while singing.......
im french but i got a transatlantic english accent so the fact that he is french doesnt mean anything and quebec french accent in english is not the same than the france french accent

For the people thinking he is faking it, he's not. I live in Quebec and live not far from where he sang at the CKOI studio, if you have an ear for such a thing as I do, you can easily hear his English is off in a lot of places and he pronounces some of his lyrics with an accent. Once he learns to properly speak English it'll make this even more impressive because then we might not be able to tell at all!
If this is real, I hope he gets famous - not as "Elvis 2.0" but as David fucking Thibault. His own man, not someone who's "kinda like that dude we love."

Lol....your comment was so funny..I do agree. Have watched some of his other videos and he is good but as an avid fan of Elvis since he arrived in Canada on TV in 1956 and going to the Collingwood Festival since 1999...David has so much potential. He is only sixteen and some of his notes are not right on but overall he has the voice. I would like to see him at the Collingwood Festival in July....He will eventually go on to Memphis for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist.

He doesn't sound like Elvis, Elvis had a rich and unique voice. While some Elvis impersonators sound at times like him they do not even come close to him. But I love that he is even trying, it's just amazing to me that Elvis is still as big as he is.. There will ever be another ELVIS.
Got paranormal goosebumps listening to that! Just for giggles and what not, I brought up a vid of Elvis singing the same song. Obviously, the older recordings wont have the new and greater quality, but the kids voice is richer and almost better than elvis's. I like how the guy in red looks like he is about to start looking for a 'tape player' somewhere, as he's completely in shock.
