It is so funny that I'm running across this, because it was like yesterday I audition for making the Band in Detroit... laurieann was very much a nice person and regardless on how people feel and think about her you have to meet her.
“The original making the band” was with O-Town. Not Diddys messy version... and Danity Kane were the break out group from that. They r still out there, a name.

Oh Hell Nah!!! I'm a former 90's dancer and danced in the same circle as her. I'll be 50 in April and I look as if I'm in my late 30's.... It's about how one take care of oneself and not allowing your soul to being manipulated.

Making the Band was definitely entertaining to watch and produced groups that I miss and still listen to. I still love Danity Kane and Day26 and still listen to their music from the beginning. But Diddy is famed for destroying people's careers. It's actually really interesting. This man has built a million dollar empire and most of the artists he's cosigned are washed/don't exist anymore/peaked when they first debuted and completely fell off and no one is checking for them anymore. I hope that whoever participates in this new Making the Band not only makes into a money-making group but also a long-lasting one that withstands Diddy's antics and the industry and are able to pull through.
