I died more to Tremonius than to Escharum on my Legendary run. That Hydra is pin point accurate and it kills in 3 hits and his reaction time is insane.
Same dude, I am on a Heroic run, largely because I'm doing Heroic as a warmup, BUT Tremonius took up half of my stream on Odysee, until I finally killed him which I swore I gave the gamer equivalent to a warriors cry
I got slapped around the room by Tremonius. I’d go down to the bottom level to lead him in, lose all my ammo to those two jackels and then have to go back up where I would be lovingly met with him slamming into me and hitting me with his hydra.
I'm glad someone else understands how punishing it was on Legendary. Everytime he would do that jetpack slam move, it was frustrating on how he slightly tracked you mid flight
God I loved Colony so much, honestly I'd love a DLC focused around them - maybe they arrive at Zeta Halo to reinforce the remained of the Banished forces there and bring loads of new unique Lekgolo-based enemies with them (Goliaths pls)
I think Chak Lok is my favorite simply because of his entrance and his voice. Hearing it brought me back to Halo 2 and had my heart pumping with nostalgia
Chak was one of my favourite bosses, simply because he posed a massive threat to me during my first playthrough and took me a few deaths to get through. Most bosses after that i kinda executed my play style much better. Also you had to take him on with almost no equipment unlocked. I would easily say A tier for myself
Hyperion and Tovarus were actually one of my fav bosses, I picked up a ghost and drove it off a cliff ledge into the boss fight where I had a ghost/chopper duel and it was pretty sick
Harbinger is what the Didact should have been Adjutant Resolution is what the Warden should have been Escharum+Bassus are what Tartarus should have been
The Didact. What a wasted character. Probably one of Halo 4's narratively worst mistakes. How can you introduce such an enigmatic villain who has lived for millenia only to have him killed off in the same game?
chak lok is my favorite boss in the game, i just love how he gives off elite pirate vibes, the way he comes in and does that fancy twirl with his sword.
Can I just say that whenever I hear the ODST soundtrack in one of these videos (I swear I've heard it in some others), I get a smile on my face? I recognised Asphalt and Ablution playing in the background of the Tremonius & Chak 'Lok sections and just thought "Yep, that's good stuff right there".
@@HiddenXperia I personally would've liked if they went more "Arkham Knight" on the HVTs. Meaning that instead of the 15 we have, they were reduced to 7 and whenever you completed an Open World activity (say, destroying every Banished outpost) the HVT attached to that activity would be the "final boss" with its own cutscene and whatnot. I feel like that would give side activities more of a narrative reason to be completed and fighting a boss at the end (that unlocks a special weapon) could be a nice reward.
The Tovarus and hyperius fight feels like it was something that just barely missed the chopping block. No cutscenes, no audio log mentions. It really feels like they were almost cut from the game but was kept in at the last second.
Escharum is one of my favorite characters in the series. His speeches sent a chill down my spine every time. And the scene with Chief after you beat him is amazing. The boss battle was a little underwhelming, especially coming right after Jega but the character was so good
His appearance was badass, and the fight itself is awesome, but god damn he takes ages to kill. I emptied a fully stocked battle rifle into his skull and it did fuck all.
Hyperius and Tovarus where really disapointing. Hyperius is one of the first characters we ever saw for infinite and they where heavily marketed yet we know almost nothing about them. It doesn't help to that my first fight with them was on normal and I just 2 shotted Tovarus with rockets and Hyperius somehow died off screen and I couldn't even find his body. I didn't even know he had a chopper until I saw it in a video lol.
I don't really get how Tremonious was spineless honestly. He stood up to Escharum and fought Chief. He's the only member of the Banished to have a location named after him, and they did it to inspire troops. Jega is just crazy, and actually would kill him over a petty argument. Edit: Damn, I actually thought the Brute with Locke's helmet was cut from the game because it wasn't touched on. I didn't know he was one of the brothers.
No, not really spineless. But Escharum practically sends Tremonious to his death knowing Chief would kill him, perhaps as a way to punish him or just get rid of him for doubting him. As we know, any sign of weakness in the Banished is punished. That's how the Banished operates. Though as we know, Tremonious was absolutely correct to be afraid of Chief because in the end, Chief with the help of a fraud pilot and AI copy of Cortana ends up killing almost everyone and screwing over practically the entire Banished base of operations on Zeta Halo. He wasn't "the best of the Banished", but in hindsight, he was ironically probably the wisest of the whole bunch.
2:14 I can't be the only person that thinks this is exactly how a boss would move and speak, in a N64 Zelda game... Even that little tune is spot on. 🎶🤣
Escharum is my favourite boss encounter, but for me he was also the most difficult to fight on legendary. Also for an old brute with chest problems I was not expecting him to be slipspace jumping across the room with that hammer geez
Hyperius and Tovarus are by far my favorite boss fight. I liked the open endedness to it and creative freedom you had in approaching them. I also never really got much out of the intro cutscenes; so no loss for me there.
It really is a shame how we didn’t get more on torvaros and hyperius I also wish we got some cutscenes with them too, what I really hope to see in DLC is if we find Locke we see a flash back of him fighting hyperius
The intro voice line of that Brute General with the gravity hammer started to get annoying after a while because I kept dying to him. I probably heard it at least 6 or 7 times before killing him But ngl, I love it’s intro
I think having a sword wielding boss in halo could work because of the thruster pack, as it could act as a dodge. It could also have a slow moving projectile the boss shoots. Kind of like a warden 2.0, but just the boss and not repeated 7 time in the same game.
@@bigluc2491 If you spam the cindershot at her she goes down pretty quickly. If you mean the energy projectiles from the flying bastards.. you have to focus on taking them out asap and watch your position carefully if they're still alive.
@12:39, when the violins chime in and start doing their build up; with that gravity hammer Chieftain on your tail, that experience gives me chills on any difficulty.
After playing the campaign twice I have determined that, after the banished are cleared out of it, Annex Ridge is the safest place to take a shit on Zeta Halo.
On legendary for your A tier list Escharum was my toughest boss, and Jega I beat him in one go. His intro is so eerie I love it! It’s the intimidation and threat he gives off as a character
I loved the bassus fight, the tier 2 grapple made me feel like spider man swinging around the room. I also really liked the challenging aspect of jega, where he is very difficult in a fun way, but not an insane bullet sponge. I didnt enjoy the escharum fight, it felt like a huge bullet sponge especially the second phase. Also the harbinger should have had more health, and she should ne easier with ranged weapons and harder with melee weapons, she felt like just waiting for her to be near you.
Just Imagine if you could actually rip Adjutant Resolution out of his mech with the grappleshot when he reveals his head or with escharum when you turn your back he just grapples you and throws you to the other side of the map to protect those relays and acts as a body shield for the relays these would have been nice little details that could have added to boss fights
Adjutant resolution wouldve been great if it wasn't the same fight twice. Gave me warden eternal flashbacks. If he had a different body the second time instead of the same thing twice I'd probably love it. Just felt very lasy the second time he showed up looking and behaving basically the exact same.
Loved the boss fights in halo infinite. Loved what they did with them in halo 2 , looking forward to more and hope they improve on unique ways to approach new bosses
After seeing this tier list I realize that I'd love to see a brute stalker boss active camo and all. While I know Atriox is a bloodstar, he doesn't make use of active camo and I'd like to see a brute who does just to give us a little taste of how utterly ridiculous that'd be.
I feel it would be a more... Primal, almost animalistic version of Jega's fight. A snarling beast stalking you through the shadows before unleashing a torrent of fire (I imagine he'd make use of lots of grenades, maybe a skewer or a ravager to bring back the firebomb aspect of the old stalkers)
i'm surprised you missed the hardest boss in the game from the list, of course, i am talking about that dammed chieftain in the harbinger fight, the one that put up more of a fight than any of the brute bosses, he who wields the power of space and can launch himself at untold speeds across entire auditoriums.
Yeah and if I'm being honest the harbinger boss was ass. She barely attacks and has a really weak shield. She has invulnerability phases which is a cherry pick for me. And her health is extremely low. If I'm right as well I think she only has 1 attack in total which is disappointing.
My list would be the same, except for maybe Adjutant Resolution in B tear. I thought his fight was fine but it just didn't leave me as hyped on the second encounter
I honestly found Jega’s bossfight pretty underwhelming, at least on heroic. He doesn’t have that much health, and he’s pretty easy to avoid if you have your threat sensor fully upgraded. He got so much hype but I beat him so quickly that I couldn’t help but feel disappointed
I agree that was probably the easiest part of that mission especially after fighting waves upon waves of enemies right before him, the hunters were harder to deal with
JEGA MY KING. having a character whos faction/species is usually all about honor but one character is a bloodthirsty maniac is so cool, and vice versa like esh. i love them both
I didn't like that Adjutant Resolution was reused. Gave me Warden vibes a little bit. Jega was S-tier. The small, cramped space combined with his camo and sword kept you on your toes. Also the atmosphere.
But him returning later on gives me Guilty Spark vibes. I don't mind that the boss was reused, I think the change in setting helped me out. That and him being a little more than just a damage sponge.
It's fine to have a boss reused if the boss is reasonably fun to beat and the combat scenario changes a little, Warden's problem was that he was not fun to fight AND HE RETURNED LIKE 5 TIMES
I was completely immersed in Halo Infinite and had a ton of fun going through the campaign and boss fights. I’m not very good and had no business playing on legendary but I did. I played all Halo games except for 5, I had a hard time getting into that one, but I had no idea Cortana went rogue, so i will be starting up 5 soon. Hats off to 343 for this one, outstanding introduction of the grappler.
I was actuallly disspointed by the jega boss fight, loved how the pilots hologram was playing but the actual fight wasn't great, the fact after you did some damage he actually despawned instead of going invisible kind of took the imersion out of it for me. Sometimes I wish I didn't understand how games work cause it makes them so much less immersive sometimes, oh to be a kid again and just enjoy the game for the experience.
Oh my god, Luc! You've got the best opinions on Halo ever! I can't believe you ranked all the Infinite bosses exactly the same as I would! You put all the bosses in the perfect order!
@@easportsmicrotransactions9629 I didn't need it. I started the right knowing where he was and just spammed rockets and grenades. Finished him off with one pistol round to the head. Took maybe 30 seconds
The Escharum fight was so funny on legendary to me I killed him normally on my first 4 play throughs being on heroic and easy but after dying to him instantly on legendary i grabbed a rocket launcher and blasted him as soon as I had the chance after the cut scene and he just died immediately before his shields could go up so I skipped the entire fight basically
I have been a halo fan ever since I was 12 and quite honestly these bosses were lazy ubisoft Bosses. I don't care if some of them have this cool story that's explained in an audio log and not shown to me. The bosses were inflated health bars and copy pastes. The gravity hammer bosses were the same except eshuram or however you spell his name and his only difference was bigger jumps and generic destroy these. The invs elites quite frankly suck. It was the only time I was forced to use the threat locator and I was playing on heroic. They were lazy feeling. When I get close to killing him he just despawns. Honest to God I don't get hoe you call these bosses good at all. They are just lazy bullet sponges. I'm not defending halo 2 bosses but they were way better. The heretic had a neat gimic and wasn't too hard. The prophet is kinda a meme. And tar tar sauce was not very good but there was actually strategy with him. You had Johnson and your elite buddies which was kinda cool. Still I think better than any of these ubisoft boss fights.
The entire atmosphere around Jega was just perfect. Having the pilot's recorded message from his wife/child playing on repeat was so creepy, and then like Chak'lok the actual fight arena was all red and misty...just wonderful stuff. I was surprised at how easy he was on Heroic, though...if you melee him right as he's lunging at you, it stops his attack and stuns him. Once I figured that out, it might have been the easiest boss fight outside of Adjutant Resolution Part 1. I'm looking forward to facing him on Legendary to see if that melee counter still works...

It was rough on LASO
I got slapped around the room by Tremonius. I’d go down to the bottom level to lead him in, lose all my ammo to those two jackels and then have to go back up where I would be lovingly met with him slamming into me and hitting me with his hydra.
@@ugiustuskeiserus8066 apparently my Brother breezed it
I'm glad someone else understands how punishing it was on Legendary. Everytime he would do that jetpack slam move, it was frustrating on how he slightly tracked you mid flight
Love your channel man. Your passion, energy, and dedication to Halo and making in-depth content for all of us in the Halo community is amazing.
I hope we get a Colony/ hunter boss in the future as we know from HW2 they have their own motives
There’s a high-value target named Myriad that is two hunters. I know it’s not a proper boss fight but at least they have health bars
I'd love a Hunter Captain or Colony boss.
@@ryatt9365 I would love that
I would love to see a hunter captain as a boss. With a cutscene showing just how powerful it is.
God I loved Colony so much, honestly I'd love a DLC focused around them - maybe they arrive at Zeta Halo to reinforce the remained of the Banished forces there and bring loads of new unique Lekgolo-based enemies with them (Goliaths pls)
If we are talking about difficulty the spartan hunters are above S tier not D tier IF your playing on legendary those guys on legendary are broken

I two shoted them in a tank.

I think Chak Lok is my favorite simply because of his entrance and his voice. Hearing it brought me back to Halo 2 and had my heart pumping with nostalgia

Yeah I really miss the H2 Elite voices, they sound so wise
@@user-tt3xu2hf5b I was the original one 😭
@@gilmoran777 oh ok lmao! A lot of other ppl r saying the same thing. I believe u
@@HiddenXperia make me a sandwich
I just keep replaying Chak Lok's cutscene. The dun dun dun is awesome.
Chak was one of my favourite bosses, simply because he posed a massive threat to me during my first playthrough and took me a few deaths to get through. Most bosses after that i kinda executed my play style much better. Also you had to take him on with almost no equipment unlocked. I would easily say A tier for myself
Chak lok is awesome
Hyperion and Tovarus were actually one of my fav bosses, I picked up a ghost and drove it off a cliff ledge into the boss fight where I had a ghost/chopper duel and it was pretty sick
The Harbinger is like the Didact if we’d actually gotten to fight him
Only the Didact is 100% more interesting as a character (granted, that's only because of the Terminals but still)
Yeah, still made we sent him out in a damn QTE no gonna lie :(
Harbinger is what the Didact should have been
Adjutant Resolution is what the Warden should have been
Escharum+Bassus are what Tartarus should have been
The Didact. What a wasted character. Probably one of Halo 4's narratively worst mistakes. How can you introduce such an enigmatic villain who has lived for millenia only to have him killed off in the same game?
@@Cardboard_Cut adjust resolution should have been 343 guilty spark
chak lok is my favorite boss in the game, i just love how he gives off elite pirate vibes, the way he comes in and does that fancy twirl with his sword.
I think Jega did 100% not die since he doesn’t disintegrate when killed with a Hardlight weapon, and cloaks, which like isn’t dead
When I killed him I took a screenshot and continued I never noticed his body cloak. And it sounds badass
His body did not disappear when I killed him.
Honestly the story bosses on this game were amazing. Kinda wished the HVTs were better though.
Yeah I wish the HVTs had a bit more variation to them, they were basically just slightly tougher versions of their regular enemy counterparts
@@juantsu2000 much better then them just sitting around in the open world for sure, this game lacks dynamic moments like that
I was killing HVT's with Scorpions...
@@BurntTM yeah hvts are a bit of a joke, the taskmaster guy makes for a fun fight on heroic
The Tovarus and hyperius fight feels like it was something that just barely missed the chopping block. No cutscenes, no audio log mentions. It really feels like they were almost cut from the game but was kept in at the last second.
I also totally missed the design. When I finally beat Tovarus, Hyperius had long despawned
Escharum is one of my favorite characters in the series. His speeches sent a chill down my spine every time. And the scene with Chief after you beat him is amazing. The boss battle was a little underwhelming, especially coming right after Jega but the character was so good
Even though I think Escharum was pretty easy I put him S rank because of his badass appearance.
How did everyone else have such an easy time with him?? During his hammer phase I felt like I could never get away from him… what’s the strat there?
@@MetallicJoK3r Lots of grappling and thrusting did the trick for me. Needler tears him apart even on legendary
I love his battle speeches and battlecries
I one shotted him but I was shivering from the whole experience lol.
It would’ve been so cool if we had a cutscene of Chief or the Weapon mentioning Hyperius’s armor. Even just dialogue after we kill him.
escharum is my favorite on legendary. died so many times but never got frustrated, and the fight was super tense and amazing.
I only found your channel a few days after Halo Infinite's release and I'm really glad I did. Love your videos man, keep it up!
Let's go,mid way through a halo reach Spotify playlist and got the notification 😩

Infinite has made me a halo guy again...played through reach, multiplayer almost every day, played some halo 2. Maaan

Even that little tune is spot on. 🎶🤣
Man I love the chak lok boss fight so much, his entrance is so nice and the music that plays is one of my favorites.
FINALLY! I've been waiting for a major youtuber to make a boss tier list
Escharum is my favourite boss encounter, but for me he was also the most difficult to fight on legendary. Also for an old brute with chest problems I was not expecting him to be slipspace jumping across the room with that hammer geez
Adrenaline is one heluva drug! Just ask my rat army
For me Chak 'Lok is hands down S tier boss, I really loved his entry and dialog. Very smooth
Along with a cutscene for their intro and expanding upon their personality, also feel like the brothers could’ve also used a better arena
Hyperius and Tovarus are by far my favorite boss fight. I liked the open endedness to it and creative freedom you had in approaching them. I also never really got much out of the intro cutscenes; so no loss for me there.
Loving these tier lists keep up the great work 👍
Damn first comment
I really want pavium and voridus to return as a boss fight in a dlc, maybe a flood one where there called in due to their experience dealing with them
It really is a shame how we didn’t get more on torvaros and hyperius I also wish we got some cutscenes with them too, what I really hope to see in DLC is if we find Locke we see a flash back of him fighting hyperius
The best part of tremonious for me was the grunt dialogue afterwards, then escharum’s speech afterwards. So good.
The intro voice line of that Brute General with the gravity hammer started to get annoying after a while because I kept dying to him. I probably heard it at least 6 or 7 times before killing him
But ngl, I love it’s intro
If you would of fought him an 8th time his dialogue switches and he says “you have 0 IQ”
I think having a sword wielding boss in halo could work because of the thruster pack, as it could act as a dodge. It could also have a slow moving projectile the boss shoots. Kind of like a warden 2.0, but just the boss and not repeated 7 time in the same game.
Infinite bosses look incredible they I think they would be really fun
Solid video idea m8, been enjoying the Halo content
Im afraid of the harbinger fight on legendary. She's easy, her minions combined with that brute chief tho..
how the hell do i avoid those “balls” of electricity?? in the final phase they’re relentless
@@bigluc2491 If you spam the cindershot at her she goes down pretty quickly. If you mean the energy projectiles from the flying bastards.. you have to focus on taking them out asap and watch your position carefully if they're still alive.
@@807D14M0ND5 wait you can shoot those? I solved it by staying close because then that triggers a fairly easy to dodge melee and spamming drop walls.
It wasn't too bad. The hunters you fight before her are way worse. I was stuck for quite a while.
@@Iseenotix yeah man i had to get behind some crates and shoot their knees through a very small opening, i don't know how you could do it without that
@12:39, when the violins chime in and start doing their build up; with that gravity hammer Chieftain on your tail, that experience gives me chills on any difficulty.
After playing the campaign twice I have determined that, after the banished are cleared out of it, Annex Ridge is the safest place to take a shit on Zeta Halo.
Wut
This is high value intel. Make sure the Banished don’t find out.
elaborate
On legendary for your A tier list Escharum was my toughest boss, and Jega I beat him in one go. His intro is so eerie I love it! It’s the intimidation and threat he gives off as a character
The two brute brothers were basically HVTs but they had even less lore then the HVTs
That's the best way I've ever heard anyone put it 😅
On my forth run I bloody love this game, it’s nice to have halo back
I loved the bassus fight, the tier 2 grapple made me feel like spider man swinging around the room.
Chak lok A teir just for the entrance. The acrobatics, the art style, the dialogue, the voice it’s just so well done
I love how Jega’s says “Say goodbye” at the same time Esparza’s wife says it in the recording
I saw it coming the moment I saw that thing on the ground, but it was still really cool.
I'd love to see one on the assassination marks. I really enjoyed them. Even decided to take on a few without a razorback 🤣
You are objectively the second best halo youtuber/content creator, after rocket sloth, obviously.
@@alexanderthegreat6682 I'd hope so, but I'd expect a tad but more originality

i'm surprised you missed the hardest boss in the game from the list, of course, i am talking about that dammed chieftain in the harbinger fight, the one that put up more of a fight than any of the brute bosses, he who wields the power of space and can launch himself at untold speeds across entire auditoriums.
Him and those DAMNED HUNTERS
The Jega and Escharum fights were both S tier in my opinion both super fun.
Yeah and if I'm being honest the harbinger boss was ass. She barely attacks and has a really weak shield. She has invulnerability phases which is a cherry pick for me. And her health is extremely low. If I'm right as well I think she only has 1 attack in total which is disappointing.
Escharum is an S tier to me for his entrance, the way he says, "Bear witness." Gives me chills everytime.
Escharum was my favorite boss fight, everything about that moment was awesome
@@IVANdtk117 same
Oh yeah for sure his intro is so good, it's also why I really liked basus'. The way he makes the hammer seem so heavy and powerful is so fucking cool.
My list would be the same, except for maybe Adjutant Resolution in B tear. I thought his fight was fine but it just didn't leave me as hyped on the second encounter
First fight with him is A tier and the second one would be B tier
Also points for the boss sentinel being so polite
I honestly found Jega’s bossfight pretty underwhelming, at least on heroic. He doesn’t have that much health, and he’s pretty easy to avoid if you have your threat sensor fully upgraded. He got so much hype but I beat him so quickly that I couldn’t help but feel disappointed
Just don't use the threat sensor. I had a pretty difficult time without it
But isn't that kinda the point of the sensor?
I didn't use the threat sensor and it was easy
I agree that was probably the easiest part of that mission especially after fighting waves upon waves of enemies right before him, the hunters were harder to deal with
Well of course it's easy. This location has two bosses. Going through a hard boss only to be met with someone as hard is just bad game design
I agree with this tier list… except the harbinger, that one brute chief pissed me off, but it is visually pleasing
I feel like Chief fighting harbinger with a gravity hammer should be canon XD
I was really disappointed with Myriad, I was hoping they'd have voice modulators like Colony did.
The delivery of Bassus' introduction line was deadass some of the best voice acting in halo history
Even as a kid I would’ve realized that he isn’t showing up on the Threat Sensor.
Oh my god, Luc! You've got the best opinions on Halo ever! I can't believe you ranked all the Infinite bosses exactly the same as I would! You put all the bosses in the perfect order!
The Jega fight was honestly the easiest one for me. And his character was very underwhelming for the hype he got.
The Jega fight was pretty difficult for me...probably because I wasn't using the threat sensor.
@@easportsmicrotransactions9629 I didn't need it. I started the right knowing where he was and just spammed rockets and grenades. Finished him off with one pistol round to the head. Took maybe 30 seconds

I would just swap Escharum and Jager. I felt my heart beating when fighting escharum and to me that was just so exhilarating
Ok Luke this tierlist is perfect. No dislikes. Expected from the iconic man himself
Love these types of videos hiddenXperia
