      Pfffffttttt plan?
      He doesn't think ahead.
      He's far too concerned with his unstable emotions. Which is why his character ended right there.
      That said, homelander lost control of his emotions in that moment.
      But I don't blame him I probably would have had a similar reaction.
      I'm not saying it's correct. But reactions are reactions.
      Adding unstable chemicals creates reactions. Chemistry 101.

      Superman knows that these people are upset, but he'll never hurt them back. He talks it out or continues doing the right thing and lets his actions speak for him.
      Homelander. Is a monster. He violated a woman, committed multiple murders which included civilians. This was even before the plane incident. Literally slept with a LITERAL N@ZI, alongside child kidnapping. Mind you, this is a fraction of the things he has done.

    Great parallel, it greatly shows the difference between Superman and Homelander. Homelander would not want to risky anything to do the right thing as long as it benefits him, while Superman wouldn't care about how the public views him as he long as he does the right thing. For Homelander, power is all that you need to matter. For Superman, he just sees his powers as a tool to further help people on a broader scale, in fact, even without the powers, Clark would still be Superman. Superman isn't really about the power, just the man itself, for Clark, that will always be enough.

  • @FenrirSylerfeng_9651
    @FenrirSylerfeng_9651 Месяц назад +21

    The difference between Superman and Homelander is that Superman is good and powerful, so there's no reason for him to be angry. Homelander is a weak little man with superpowers. so he attacks the weakest to convince himself that he is biologically strong.
    Physical strength in the hands of a coward does not make him strong, it makes him a dangerous coward.

    • @vost-x2d
      @vost-x2d Месяц назад +3

      If some one is physical strong he's strong if he's a coward he's a coward he'd be a strong coward not s dangerous coward, but you were probably referring to homeland who is strong and dangerous but not a coward

    • @terrancehawkinsbishop2537
      @terrancehawkinsbishop2537 Месяц назад +3

      Homelander is a little man, if you're not afraid of him chances are you'll live. Stan Edgar, The Scientist woman in the lower levels and most of all Billy Fuckin Butcher all looked him in the eye and walked away without a scratch.

    • @FenrirSylerfeng_9651
      @FenrirSylerfeng_9651 Месяц назад +1

      @vost-x2d Homelander is a coward with superpowers, which makes him dangerous, but not strong. He's so scared that anything makes him freak out. He is mentally fragile, insecure and easily manipulated. He thinks he is in charge, but he is commanded by many humans without superpowers. Physical strength is just one of many layers of power.
      Americans would never know how to achieve these layers of power, so they cling so tightly to fantasies and are letting control slip away. That's why they cling to allegories like Homelander to feel some security.
