- I took a walk to my local comic shop Action City Comics and got surprised with some amazing Key Issue comics for sale. I picked up some new issues, a grail of mine then I went to my other LCS Comic Station to raid their dollar bins again.

Man you're lucky to live next to all these awesome retro back issue comics shops! That's just pure nostoglia from my childhood! Over here in Cali it's hard to find them around often since it's mostly modern comic books because I guess they don't want to deal with the vendors of all those comics or sometimes it doesn't sell. So I have to travel all the way to frank and sons! My favorite one! Cool videos dude👊
Yeah New York is full of some many places with comics. new and old. Golden Age is the only era that is kinda hard to find.

@@Chosen1_24 Sweet I always say if its a book I want and its $1 I just buy it without thought. Dollar bins are great.
@@pop-comics True! Can't be too picky because it's a steal of a deal and you'll be surprised, sometimes you find some big books and minor key issues in those $1 boxes. It's why I love going to shops that have those deals

ASM 300 was my first ever CGC pick up. I bought an 8.5 Newsstand several years back for a couple hundred bucks. Sold it at the height of the boom, and instantly regretted it. I told myself I would get another, and thankfully I was able to get a great deal on a 9.0 Newsstand a few months back, for less than what i sold my 8.5 for! Great pick-up Sean!

I have a lot of Mark Jewelers Insert variants that have a blue star stamped on them. However, I also have a lot of Mark Jewelers Insert variants that don't. 🤷🤷♂️
Yeah I ended up looking on ebay and I think it was 40% or so with star etc. But its really good to know to look out for that star. Now that its on my radar I bet I find more.

Not good to pay for comics on credit card, any value you get out of it will be diminished because of the interest you pay
I pay off everything so I earn cash back and dont pay interest.
I think you would do better buying straight from diamond or whoever is the to go guy. You get some good free stuff from them. Let me help you. I don't even want pay. Just a place to stay. I can help you build your store and get a lot more customers in.

Ouch 325 for an ASM 300 raw graded around a 6 oofff. I paid 345 for a 9.2 cgc graded and i thought i could've gotten a better deal at a raw copy
I paid $1 for Ultimate Fallout 4 years ago lol and bitcoin use to be pennies. With Time things go up. Now if you paid that recently you got a super deal!

You do with your money w.e you want I don't pay your bills. I'm saying that I got a 9.2 for $345 and I thought that was high. Come to find out a 6.0 raw copy goes for 325. I would cry myself to sleep at night if I spent that kinda money but if you can that's awesome more power to you

@@VHSValdesHasSpoken Oh no worries at all shops in NYC would pay $300-$400 for a 9.2 easily to resell at the $700-$800 range. A year ago it was selling for $1200 or so, you got a great price. Congratz on the score
