Agree with you about cutting out the loo. Worth it when you have huge variability like on trains, but pretty much all airlines are the same these days.
@@MattsPlanet Precisely. For example, I've flown JAL F about a dozen times now, and never realised until yesterday what the folding flap at floor level is for: It's a fold-down foot platform to save your bare/socked feet from ever touching the floor. Having said that, I've never encountered anything other than a pristine loo on JAL F anyway. Furthermore, what I thought was a baby changing facility is in fact a padded seat, for you to sit on over the existing covered loo seat, while you do any necessary shoe or sock contortions. A personal loo story on JAL F... on the 777-300ER, if you use the bidet function, make sure you've familiarised your self with the stop button: the controls aren't well-lit, and situated at butt cheek level. Inevitably if you don't, you risk either getting up and spraying the entire washroom, or emptying the aircraft of water. ** So there is value, sometimes there are features one wouldn't otherwise be aware of. ** I discovered it times out after a couple of minutes. Some might say not long enough ;-)
I think most of us Greeks are proud of our flag carrier airline, they seem to be great at what they do. Never flown in business class myself, but the couple of times I flew with Aegean to London and to Rome, the food onboard the airplane was great and the service excellent !
The new CEO seems an extremely professional and trustworthy man. It was him who ordered 42 new Air-Buses A-321 Neo. Most have arrived. Imagine if the the stakeholders trust him that much, he must be doing something great for our national airlines, Aegean and its subsidiary, Olympics airlines.
We have overpaid for Aegean, and it is not even a national carier. It is a private carrier which lives on our taxes!!! Our politicians and "journalists" destroyed Olympic airways. It is not just the carrier, they also destroyed the handling services, repairs etc. As a result, we are now a second-class destination, our main airport is peripheral, and we rely on contractors from abroad to provide basic ground service and repairs. So, if you want to travel anywhere outside europe, you have to fly through Istanbul airport, while in the past, if anyone from the west wanted to fly to middle east, they had to fly through Athens. It is really a huge downgrade.
Thessaloniki native here that grew up in Chicago... I've flown a couple of million miles with United so whether i fly business or coach i always have access to the Aegean lounge, or any star alliance lounge. At any rate, the reason i wanted to comment was because the most freaking amazing koulouri I've had was at the Aegean lounge!
Good review Matt of Aegean and matches my excellent experiences with them both in flight and in their lounges. I too was a little taken back when I was struggling with the coffee machine in Aegean lounge at Athens when one of the 2 ladies managing the eating/drinking area came to help me and also advised that she was topping up the breakfast offering and to wait 5 minutes for their full offering. Definitely on my do fly list.
Nice video! I have to agree that the Aegean lounge in Athens is fantastic compared to many other airlines including the US airlines. One thing that would propel Aegean to high skies is if the adapt the 2 seat configuration for their business class
I am 10 years a gold member of Aegean and they are always my #1 airline selection when flying back to my home place. (Athens) It's a pity that after the (you know what) they haven't reinstated the full hot meal they used to offer in economy class which was absolutely fantastic! But still, they offer a great product and can't wait to see what they will offer in a couple of years' time (maybe less) when the 4 A321 LRs will join the fleet and will have a lie flat business class config to serve routs such as UAE,India etc. Thanks for the video Matt! Next time, give a try to mastiha liquor that it has its origins to Chios island. It's a great digestive drink.
Thanks for reviewing and mentioning this lesser known (I think) airline that seems to consistently offer a superior flying experience. The first experience with them that I remember was flying from Paris to Athens; the plane was 20+ mins late departing CdG airport. I usually find delays irksome because there is nothing you can do about them -- but resorted to keep calm and alert my pickup on arrival of the probable late arrival. Following a nice (by air travel standards) meal and plenty of complementary drinks I was patiently reading a book whiling away the time when the captain gave us the "approaching Athens, etc" announcement and, checking the time I realised we were about 35mins in advance of the scheduled arrival. To make a long story short, we landed a few mins before schedule and I had time for an airport coffee waiting for my ride to town!
Mate, (yes I call you that, you probably remember why) you're simply doing a stellar job, the wordplay in scripting is impecable. I still enjoy your video's. As I said a LONG time ago, don't become a 'Rebranded' Paul L's or Sam C's.. You are Matt's Planet which is golden as you are, the genuine, no-nonsense channel; reporting simply what is observed with a laugh or two and that's exactly why I, as a regular person feel connected to your adventures. One thing that many people miss about these older style seats (on the CEO's) is that the middle seat turns into a table...but also the seat's (Window/Isle) become about 10cm wider as a result. See 6:37 and have a look at the two middle armrests.
Very good! In Munich with 25 patrons this weekend and its been an absolute blast so there's something to be said for joining up! Even if I say so myself!!!
Great content. I may have to fly to and from Athens next year. Aegean is top of my list now. Even without the upgrade tricks (novice here) it seems like a fabulous option.
Great video, Matt!! Imagine a European carrier doing the simple things, right.... It shows that it is not that hard, some companies decide to just not bother...... Stay well Thomas
Keep the Loo review - it’s very funny plus it’s reinforcing the experience I’ve had that only easyJet don’t replenish the hand towels!😂. As a newbie, I’m looking forward to joining your motley crew when you’re next in Belfast. Thanks for keeping us entertained, it’s a difficult job but you do it so well.
Never flown Aegean, but my brother has and was very impressed. Will definitely be looking at them for our next trip. Thanks for the great video. As for the Loo, its good to see how clean they are or are not.
Matt another very informative and great video, what a coincidence with the loo connection in this review having met you in the queue for one at the BA First Lounge last Friday, hope you enjoyed your trip. 🍺.
The loo review is an interesting one. I find there’s usually very little worth mentioning, especially on narrow bodies where there’s so little variation, but can be useful on some long haul flights where there’s something worth noting. For example on recent Qatar flights I’ve felt it’s useful to make people aware of the amenities available in the toilets, and I liked the decor on KLM. I’m inclined to keep them in on most flight reviews though, mainly for the benefit of the casual viewer who might be researching a specific flight/airline that they’re booking and wants to know everything about the experience. Will be interested to see what others think in your comments though!
I agree with you. I'm typing this reply whilst sitting at the Al Mourjan Garden Lounge in Doha, whilst in transit from Tokyo to London. My outbound flight was on an A350, and the first return on an 777 300ER, and I found that the loo on the 777 to be a fair bit larger and more comfortable (if there is such a thing) than the A350. It would certainly help the casual traveller to know about the loo, especially if they might have a disability, infants that need changing changing or something similar.
FIRST OF ALL people always go for the big airlines for euro trips but on the basis of this video they are missing out it seems a EXCELLENT service secondly a bog is a bog ! great video as always matt ....... keep in good health
I guess the difficulty is Greece is in a corner of Europe and with no long haul connections for Asia bound travellers, so unless you are travelling to Greece, or nearby countries the more well known airlines are logistically more practical options. An unfortunate geographical disadvantage for Aegean, but maybe at the same time, staying small and boutique might be why they are better than the more well known larger airlines.
I have recently flown SAS and like the refreshing change from BA - Oslo airport is a dream... concentration on punctuality clean cabins and great staff. Soon upgrading euro business product...
Great video. After flying BA and IB in Euro biz recently, it always surprises me that they haven't followed the US and APAC airlines like QF by having different seats to economy in narrow bodies. I understand the logic, but it gives you a much improved hard product experience.
Agreed, no loo review needed on most flights, unless it's out of the ordinary. eg. The blue rinse in IcelandAir's old 757 reminded my of a chemical loo at a festival, contrasting with their excellent Saga Premium or a passing reference to the tiny loos on a densified A320neo
Another solid EuroBusiness vlog Matt! Nice to see a recent update on Aegean! I'm very keen to see you cover SAS at some point, I flew them on SAS Plus and despite their website having said I'd be able to visit a lounge at Helsinki, I couldn't- I did complain via email and got a response with no compensation... for better or worse, glad your Aegean mishap from the outbound trip got resolved.
Lots of people been on SAS lately cementing their status matches - they are probably worth a review.... Although the reviews I have seen haven't been amazing...
@@MattsPlanet Let's say after doing 5 flights with them under Star Alliance (3x in 2018 & 2x in 2024), I prefer the SAS Go product over the SAS Plus product!
Very impressed with the Aegean lounges. On flight fairly standard stuff. I'm not bothered about loo reviews (although I quite like Noel Phillip's mainly because of his funny cartoon of him going there) - so long as it is clean and has loo paper I'm happy! If you get to 20K subs by Christmas, that would be a nice present.
I loved their focus on local produce and who doesn't love a dish of Greek olives or bread dipped in their lovely oil?! Looked a great trip Matt. I'm not a fan of loo reviews - unless they are above normal. I was looking at Aegean as a way of maxing my points gained via SIA but Covid and the resulting travel chaos and damage to my business and income meant I nearly lost the points and just transferred them to Bonvoy at a loss to at least save something. Oh well!
@@MattsPlanet Well, apart from Vergina's Museum of Kings Alexander and Philip(and few other sites), Thessaloniki is well known for these kind of monuments like the one in the plane, even with 1/4 of the population of Athens...
As an old Greece hand I loved that, Matt. Recently flew that Thessaloniki-Athens leg in September so all very familiar. Loo reviews? Nah, forget them. I always skip them. Not interested in the slightest. (Other reviewers note - especially the Texan from Chesterfield). Perhaps only if the loo is something special, like a loo with a window view or a digital news wall, or complimentary booze - or a warning if an airline really poops it and fails to deliver. Onyer mate. Paul in Oz.
The serving gloves replete with forced air opening in the Aegean lounge have me longing to fly Aegean to Athens! Why have I not seen this anywhere before?1 Genius for germaphobes such as myself. Well done, Aegean.
Lovely Video as always. Looking forward for A3 Ber-Ath in 12 Days. Thank you for Advertising A3. Lovin it :)😊 They should pay you some Money. Made 16 Flights this year.😊
I do find the loo reviews helpful, as they help with the overall impression...what am I going to get if I pay £££ for a business class ticket on a 14 hour flight, or hard earned miles. Small touches which cost pennies to an airline can enhance the overall impression which might make you fly them again etc
Ah the loo review. Yes, have to say, I’m not sure I get it. I have shown a loo on one of my videos but only because it had a window! 😂 Aegean on my list now Matt. Thank you. 🙏
Fair enough about the mastiha Chiou, they really should explain it a bit more. It's a liqueur flavored with mastiha, a natural resin from trees from the island of Chios. It's a digestif, one of the few popular in Greece, and quite nice if you're not already deathly bored of it. Tsipouro is for functioning alcoholics and tractor engines, not really worth talking about :D
Have you tried Aegean Pass? The biggest difficulty with it is that the only way to upgrade a flight bought using an Aegean Pass to business class is using an upgrade voucher. No paid upgrades are possible.
I once took a photo of the lcd screen showing Cathay Pacific Hong Kong and the lady on the adjoining check in desk went mental screaming at me “no photos no photos” So be careful at LHR when using your camera 😮
I don't think I've seen you this upbeat about a euro Business class offering in a long time. Like you have said in a previous video, it's not much value especially if one has status. And this highlights that apart from a blocked middle seat and fast-track passport control at arrival (not available obviously for intra-Schengen journeys), once the meal service is done, the additional you paid for your business class ticket has extinguished just like that. I've also made a point in a similar RUclipsr's video: if you want to pay for or burn points on euro Business class: come early to enjoy the lounge. That's where you will extract the most value for your "euro business class premium".
Hi mate. Just thinking about a conversation we had a few months back about your health - did you rip that thing out of you like I advised? LOL! But in all seriousness how is that side of things? 3:52 oh wow fair play to that employee who cares about her brand. She will go places! 8:29 ouch - called a customer a liar and no compensation! BA did that to me.
All good here. In the middle of my first annual review - had the MRI and the call is in another week or so. No expectation that anything has changed so another year of waiting for it to be better to act than to wait....
Hi Matt great stuff as usual. I vote for no more toilet videos. I've passed comment on toilet video's before and don't see the point of them, a lav, mirror, sink usually tiny space to do your business in, we've all experienced them. 😀
Toilets do not need inclusion unless notable for failings or they're exceptional in a positive way... hence your Emirates comment, though BA's a380 toilets upfront are also rather good.
Aircraft lavatory-sorry-loo tours: What I might find helpful is if, by some miracle, a taller design engineer had managed to overcome many years of blatant disregard for ergonomics and instead organized the position of the toilet such that bending backwards was not necessary.
Feel free to ditch the loo scenes Matt - unless it’s a truly exceptional toilet experience (I’m thinking Japanese carriers here) and a complete departure from the usual “bog standard” then I’m pretty sure that most of us can live without them!
Emirates A380 lower deck at the front is another interesting one, for economy or premium ecnomy on the refurbished A380's. One of them is a lot bigger than the average economy / premium economy toliets.
I know it’s right at the edge of Europe, but you really need to try Turkish airlines, business class product. Sure the lounges at Gatwick and Heathrow are not the best, and the needlessly overpriced giant terminal is an absolute nightmare, but at least you get a proper business class seats. Unlike almost every other airline across Europe.
If you happen to miss your flight then finding the hotel desk is a whole new world of misery. When it happened to me none of the staff had any idea where it was, we were pointed in the wrong direction on numerous occasions and it is only when you finally get there you see a small signpost right above it. Every other person we spoke to in the queue help the same frustrating experience
Yeah, sack the loo review off… not really interested what’s in there etc but maybe a passing comment than showing me the umpteenth RUclipsr in an airplane loo😂 Josh gets most things right IMHO and he’s spot on here too.
Thank you Matt also for showing the variety of Greek rocketfuel. Ouzo is clear, Tsipuoro is - if it´s good - grape mark, if it´s bad it is made of something like old tyres and banana skin. The third one is something I never heard of. So Aegean, please tell us what you serve. Nevertheless, I really approve of Aegean´s service. Watching something about the loo, I think I have to...
I think you got a dodgy crew on the final flight with the upside down tray and plastic covers left on each plate! I don’t need to see the toilets unless they’re something special, although a mention of any special business class amenities would be welcome.
Ιf you think of even more precise if anyone thinks that an airtraveling trip has so much to do with the taste of a beer served or the shallot creamy sauce atop the dogfood served on flight ...is really half baked.. Structural integrity pilot training and engineering excellence is what makes an air company to stand out Ticket price too it goes without saying... Air attendants nylons or pretzels served aboard should not even be of such an importance to be mentioned. It's frivolous. N quaint Kalimera from kalamata
@MattsPlanet ...lol...I understand must have hit a nerve somehow inadvertently...overall I did liked it...and thankfull for it...goes without saying.. But I wished to supply an innocuous addendum..that capital importance be placed on safety and not on Pina Coladas n margaritas... I ve been once in a very difficult situation as an airpassager...lemme tell you only thing really matters is safety n it's not a given at all Best wishes to you From Kalamata
THY is more of an Asian airline, both because of being in an Asian country and that you would most likely compare it with EK, QR etc. not with European carriers like LH, LX, AF and so on
I don't care at all about toilet reviews, unless there is something really unusual. I'm really pissed off about this "European business class" rubbish. It's like an excuse that's now become accepted. BC needs to have extra legroom and a different seat.
Agree to disagree. I will never fly with them again even if the fares are cheaper (which in the routes I fly aren't) so goodbye and never again. They were bailed through the pandemic with money from all the Greek taxpayers but the product has seen a downgrade since. Only the flight crews were always the best. All the rest of their employees are simply the worst. Especially the customer service... So no thank you, LH Group has not let me down since and I choose them over any shitty Aegean fare offer.
What is substandard and unacceptable is the "empty" seat between the two "business class" seats... It is about time they change this cheap configuration to 2+2 and have real business class seating...
@@MattsPlanet Exactly, it's not going to happen just like I will never purchase another Aegean business class ticket after the fiasco of purchasing one and getting what I did. To be fair, it is not just Aegean but a European thing because just about everyone does it. It is fraud, plain and simple...
I traveled with British Airlines business from London to Athens British business class suck I travel business from London to to Philadelphia British Business suck again AEGEAN AIRLINES IS 100 TIMES BETTER
To be perfectly honest, not viewing ANY part of ANY Josh Cahill video must be a wonderful thing as he just gets ignored these days as I do not enjoy watching a review of a flight conducted by what seems to be a perpetually whinging small child.
The best thing about that airline is that if you're flying on it, you're probably in Greece and that's always the best place to be.

I'm not bothered about loo reviews (although I quite like Noel Phillip's mainly because of his funny cartoon of him going there) - so long as it is clean and has loo paper I'm happy! If you get to 20K subs by Christmas, that would be a nice present.
I have got a bit fed up of Noel's intro video!!! 20k by Xmas would be a stretch I feel but it won't be long after...
Oh well!
Their scheme is worth a look and the airline is worth a flight!
Αγάπη από Θεσσαλονίκη Μακεδονία Ελλάδα ❤❤❤
Thanks!
''I went to Greece to visit the monuments!''
The monuments: 9:15
Doesn't really work in the North!
@@MattsPlanet Well, apart from Vergina's Museum of Kings Alexander and Philip(and few other sites), Thessaloniki is well known for these kind of monuments like the one in the plane, even with 1/4 of the population of Athens...
Very informative video.
Thanks!
Thank You ✈️
Cheers
Direct lounge boarding is pretty rare, terminal 3 at Heathrow allows this for emirates passengers providing the plane is at gate 5 or 7
I think I knew that although I've not flown Emirates from there....
Onyer mate. Paul in Oz.
Cracking comment thanks - I think your loo strategy is spot on!
Aegean is by far the best European Airline!!
I've not flown better!
Nice report Matt. Thank you! Just a quick Q - can said lounge be used by other airline users/ can you get paid access?
It would be available to other status holders in star alliance - I honestly don't recall if there was paid access too
Awesome!
Thanks!
Ωραία αεροδρόμιο Μακεδονία Θεσσαλονίκη Ελλάδα ❤❤
It was very nice!
9:41 That's the biggest backpack I've ever seen! Could that be taken on board or put in the hold?
It was wasn't it!!! Hadn't noticed until you pointed it out
The serving gloves replete with forced air opening in the Aegean lounge have me longing to fly Aegean to Athens! Why have I not seen this anywhere before?1 Genius for germaphobes such as myself. Well done, Aegean.
They're easily missed too as they're a bit tucked away but I loved them!
Lovely Video as always. Looking forward for A3 Ber-Ath in 12 Days.
Thank you for Advertising A3.
Lovin it :)😊
They should pay you some Money. Made 16 Flights this year.😊
Would be nice to be on a commission!
@MattsPlanet if we ever met,I will pay the whine Bill. Promised.
The Athens Airport It is Spacious but also like you said the large speces are waisted ? try to visit by the spring & Summer season:)
Lots of reasons to go back to Greece!
I always enjoy your videos, but I’m with you and Josh on loo reviews…unless it’s something really spectacular!
That seems to be the consensus!
I do find the loo reviews helpful, as they help with the overall impression...what am I going to get if I pay £££ for a business class ticket on a 14 hour flight, or hard earned miles. Small touches which cost pennies to an airline can enhance the overall impression which might make you fly them again etc
Thanks for that - on a widebody on a long haul route there's probably something to share in there!!!
Ive never seen the point of the loo review unless there is something unusual about it. A brief voice comment will suffice. As ever matt, a great video
Thanks!
Ah the loo review. Yes, have to say, I’m not sure I get it. I have shown a loo on one of my videos but only because it had a window! 😂 Aegean on my list now Matt. Thank you. 🙏
If there's something worth talking about its probably worth including them....
Hi Matt
Is there going to be a video about your stay in Saudi?
There will be - another week or two before it comes along.... Might be a bit controversial...
Dreaming of Aegean to enter the long haul market with a widebody order !
That would be a happy day.... A321(X)LR's on order which is getting close...
It would be hilarious if your descriptions were what Aegean went with on the menus...
@@MattsPlanet Tsipouro is also called Raki in Greece, or Grappa in Italy. Its distilled from leftover fruit of wine production.
See you at the Keller later!
More beer!!! YEa!!!!
Have you tried Aegean Pass? The biggest difficulty with it is that the only way to upgrade a flight bought using an Aegean Pass to business class is using an upgrade voucher. No paid upgrades are possible.
I haven't although I know people who have enjoyed it when its been status renewal time....
Bravo 🇬🇷🙏
Thanks!
I once took a photo of the lcd screen showing Cathay Pacific Hong Kong and the lady on the adjoining check in desk went mental
screaming at me “no photos no photos”
So be careful at LHR when using your camera 😮
Never had a problem at LHR although I tend not to wave my camera around!
Spot on - I do like Aegean! Although they are expensive if you buy a business seat, as you say...
If there's something special, I'll share it!
@@MattsPlanet something like a snooker table or a fish tank. 🙂
Toilets do not need inclusion unless notable for failings or they're exceptional in a positive way... hence your Emirates comment, though BA's a380 toilets upfront are also rather good.
A regular A320 loo does not qualify! Roger!
Aircraft lavatory-sorry-loo tours: What I might find helpful is if, by some miracle, a taller design engineer had managed to overcome many years of blatant disregard for ergonomics and instead organized the position of the toilet such that bending backwards was not necessary.
I'll certainly publicise one if I find one!
Another Sunday, another great video but another loo video? Leave it out
Loud and clear!
I'm still satisfied with Lufthansa senator status
Quite tough to maintain I think? But if you get lots of business travel its not so bad?
Feel free to ditch the loo scenes Matt - unless it’s a truly exceptional toilet experience (I’m thinking Japanese carriers here) and a complete departure from the usual “bog standard” then I’m pretty sure that most of us can live without them!
Emirates A380 lower deck at the front is another interesting one, for economy or premium ecnomy on the refurbished A380's. One of them is a lot bigger than the average economy / premium economy toliets.
I think I'll show them if there's something worth showing
So you're trying to say if I m reading between the lines 'it's attractive'?
I like them!
Turkish is certainly on the radar.... But i need to get in training for that airport....
If there's something worth sharing I'll cover it
Ah sometimes footage is handy eh to prove you weren't lying! :)
Indeed!
gta 6 trailer 2 soon 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Look forward to it!
@ are you gonna get it
5:48That's a security issue gently remarked .
Jetways are overrated when you can simply walk into the aircraft...
I think we were ok - some airport staff out of shot preventing us jumping into the engines....
With Lufthansa 4,5 hours flight to Frankfurt they gave us 250 ml water !!!
Is this service?
The EU is falling apart..
We left the EU so I can't really comment!!!
Thanks - tyre based alcohol doesn't sound great, does it???
@@MattsPlanet Not really, and it only speeds up headache...
I think you got a dodgy crew on the final flight with the upside down tray and plastic covers left on each plate! I don’t need to see the toilets unless they’re something special, although a mention of any special business class amenities would be welcome.
Its the small things, eh?
Ιf you think of even more precise if anyone thinks that an airtraveling trip has so much to do with the taste of a beer served or the shallot creamy sauce atop the dogfood served on flight ...is really half baked..
Structural integrity pilot training and engineering excellence is what makes an air company to stand out
Ticket price too it goes without saying...
Air attendants nylons or pretzels served aboard should not even be of such an importance to be mentioned.
It's frivolous. N quaint
Kalimera from kalamata
Can't work out if you liked the video or not!!!
@MattsPlanet ...lol...I understand must have hit a nerve somehow inadvertently...overall I did liked it...and thankfull for it...goes without saying..
But I wished to supply an innocuous addendum..that capital importance be placed on safety and not on Pina Coladas n margaritas...
I ve been once in a very difficult situation as an airpassager...lemme tell you only thing really matters is safety n it's not a given at all
Best wishes to you

@@linobenetti6578 That makes sense! And i agree... Although the Pina Coladas are still important!
I would say Turkish Airlines is a better European airline as they fly wide-bodies intra-europe, but Aegean is on a very good 2nd place!
Not flown them actually but a few people have said that - hopefully there's more to them than just flying widebodies
Nope is not turkey 🦃 airlines, and have many issues, the only reason u say it, is cuz you are from turkey 🦃
THY is more of an Asian airline, both because of being in an Asian country and that you would most likely compare it with EK, QR etc. not with European carriers like LH, LX, AF and so on
@@DimitrisSartzetakis their hub is on the European continent. Not in Asia.
@@hejbjarne since when are they a "European" airline ? It is an Asian airline period.
I don't care at all about toilet reviews, unless there is something really unusual. I'm really pissed off about this "European business class" rubbish. It's like an excuse that's now become accepted. BC needs to have extra legroom and a different seat.
Airliner seats are on tracks which means you can very quickly alter the seat pitch at least. They don't even bother with that.
Thanks - the occasional widebody shows up but it is a poor offering
Agree to disagree. I will never fly with them again even if the fares are cheaper (which in the routes I fly aren't) so goodbye and never again. They were bailed through the pandemic with money from all the Greek taxpayers but the product has seen a downgrade since. Only the flight crews were always the best. All the rest of their employees are simply the worst. Especially the customer service... So no thank you, LH Group has not let me down since and I choose them over any shitty Aegean fare offer.
Fair enough! The Lufthansa group can indeed be quite good, although the non-Lufty airlines seem to be better than Lufty itself in my experience!
Seemingly Aegean are getting A321LRs with flat beds ....
That would be a happy day!
What is substandard and unacceptable is the "empty" seat between the two "business class" seats...
It is about time they change this cheap configuration to 2+2 and have real business class seating...
I fear its not going to happen though...
Maybe not 100 times better, but I don't disagree with the sentiment!
To be perfectly honest, not viewing ANY part of ANY Josh Cahill video must be a wonderful thing as he just gets ignored these days as I do not enjoy watching a review of a flight conducted by what seems to be a perpetually whinging small child.
I couldn't possibly comment.... No discomfort too small to make into a thumbnail, eh?
Looks good but not quite as good as the old Olympic Airways.
Never flew Olympic sadly....
Sorry but your... "business clas" meal is what other airlines offer in tourist class...
Not in any of the airlines I've flown short haul recently....
