Sad how prophetic this turned out to be. The kid had half the career of his peers. But...two Cy Youngs and 3 World Series Championships. Not bad, Timmy.
2 Cy’s, 3 WS, 2 No-Hitters. 14k 2010 NLDS CG, 8-innings 10k in the 2010 WS clincher, $102M in 10 seasons and really only 5 as an effective starter/pitcher If he had the choice to go back and trade his career as a starter for a 15 year career as a reliever/closer without developing the degenerative hip issue, does he? Impossible to put a value on health and to say how much he would have made. But his great individual achievements never happen the same. As is he is probably most comparable to Denny McLain: 10 years, White-hot peak, back-to-back Cy’s, WS champions. Not HoF or even HoVG but best case scenario otherwise
Be honest, would you care? I’d call it a career and kick back in my mansion. Guess it depends on what you’re playing for, but I’d call it a great career. I get your point though 👍! Guess it’s up to the individual
Sad that his career wasn't as long as it could have been. That change-up ended up being his best pitch, which is interesting, considering how bad it was in the beginning of his career.
i was never a fan of baseball as a kid but i had seen this guy pitch and i never forgot his technique it’s what i picture in my mind what a pitch should look like
Hideo Nomo had an insane back twist and back but had great major league career, even a nohitter at coors field that some believe may will not happen again...
The injury Sucks, but those 5 years from 2008-2012 were possibly the most dominant and successful 5 years of any pitcher. For a short while, he looked like the greatest of all time. Giants fans have nothing but respect for The Freak. Truly one of the most loved giants player of all time.
This was made in 2007. In 2008 he won his first Cy Young. In 2009, he did it again. In 2010 the Giants won the WS and this man should've been named MVP. Oh and that not so good change up made batters look like fools. People say this video was prophetic. My ass. Anyone can say that about any player and eventually be right. But after this video was made, he headed in the opposite direction and became a Giants and MLB Legend.
Long....no. NICE!!.....What do you think? Struck out over 260 batters in back to back seasons setting an alltime Giants record that hasn't been broken. Don't think any pitcher has ever done that in mlb history. Has 3 WS rings. 2 Cy Young awards and 2 No-Hitters. Most would take half that and think they had a great career.

Giants need a statue of this guy. He was the heart of 2010 2012 2014 WS. Even if he didnt start the ladder years.
That windup was beautiful.
My favorite pitcher of all time just for his mechanics and his hair was 🔥 for a couple years there
Wow, quite prophetic. Durability.

He has to bend his back that way in order to throw so over the top or else he would rip his shoulder out of its socket
Tim was an amazing pitcher. He wasn't a big guy, but he was smoking fastballs. Striking out the most powerful hitters.

This is amazing, thankyou for showing me how he moves if been baffled by him for so long
I wish his windup was in the show
it was for the longest time. sucks they took it out
Koufax and Timmy both had short but remarkable career
#55 Forever!⚾️🔥🔥🔥🔥✨
He hides the ball quick. 😎👍⚾️
3:12 Tim uses his legs way more than Oswald 💀

2 Cy Young’s and 3 rings.
There was a pitcher who said marijuana resin was the best to use to get more back spin on a pitch. Could it have been Lincecum?
I see him throwing sidearm...but perpendicularly
How did a channel with 12 subscribers (less than me, and I have no videos) get on my recommended?
Funny...people say the changeup is his best pitch.
I like Tim but, I want Madison
His mechanics are great tbh cause im 12 and I throw about 70 to 74
Im short but have insane strength and i just hit 65 mph and im barley 13
Be careful though. His mechanics were the reason why he couldn't pitch more than a few years, his body couldn't handle it.
EL CHELMITO CCMS I guarantee you don’t throw that fast at 12😂
@@isaacrobles1780 may 70-74 km lol
eturrubiartes 😂😂😂
Well this rookie sounds 👂 like a
winner 🥇 🎖 🏅 , I hope 🤞 🙏 he has a nice long career ahead of him 💯
The irony

Dont throw like this, kids.
Ya or else you light win 2 cy young awards and throw 2 no-hitters
@@deadhardy And be out of the league just like that.
If you're that small- go for it!
