Couple of times I've been to an Indian restaurant and they won't let you have a bad experience plus the portions are ridiculous. Well worth the money in my experience
😋😋😋👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
😂 also won’t let you go hungry 😂
I'm in Canada, Thd restaurants are absolutely the same way,Never leave hungry
@@jiminorlen7256 Indian restaurants outside of NA are overpriced, dirty, cheap and portions are so small you might as well just cook at home and/or get mcdonalds
@@karensmithson318 He's right when it comes to portion size. Here in California the portion sizes are small.
Being an Indian i can definitely say that its impossible for a normal human being to finish so much indian food alone...u are jst too good...
I love that the chef stayed the whole time. You can tell he was excited to see your reaction to how it tastes. I was excited for him lol
He was on his lunch break, whilst he witnessed the appalling naan to curry ratio eating
You can tell he cares about his job and his people. Much love involved in making food for people. Even though it's a business for money .. cooking for your brothers and sisters is a loving thing.
💜💚🤎🧡💙

Joel is a walking-talking best advertisement for all of these places. They should be contacting him with invites, if they're not already. 😀
JOEL you were eating Naan separately. Dunk it in the gravy my man.
Very good advice Sir
yeah it's annoying to watch someone eating butter chicken separately and not with the naan
😂🤣I wish they would know how to eat it for better taste
They aren't here for food tasting dude, they do it to the way that saves time
he was speed eating guys...hahhahaa
We just ordered Indian food last night from our favourite place in Waterdown. I just can't get over the flavours.
I'd love to take a lengthy cooking course in Indian cuisine. Most other foods that I run into, I'd like to think that I could identify the basic ingredients and could reasonably recreate them at home. Indian food is some sort of spice sorcery that completely escapes me. So, so, so delicious. ♡
Plz come india and complete challenges like kumbhakarni thali, bahubali thali, dara singh thali etc
Beautiful true words on indian cuisine 😍😍
you can watch youtube videos & try them at home
Start with three basic things.. chilli powder, salt and turmeric, you can cook any Indian dish with these three spices. After that play with other spices you will learn entirely with time.
This does NOT look hard, lol. But it definitely LOOKS DELISH! My favorite Indian food...YES!
You should try it and say afterwards
@@Ganesh_nykYou know it’s easy if the food is delicious. Nothing about this “challenge” is hard at all. The things that L.A. Beast do are real challenges.
@@Ganesh_nyk what dizzy meant is, compared to other challenges it was way too easy . Atleast that is what I felt from when i saw the plate being served to Joel
The butter chicken looked like it was more sauce then chicken, However that was a lot of sauce and bread. I love how they cook their chick peas.
@The Stranger I thought so. Thanks for the info.
I said the same thing . Hella sauce
That’s how it is supposed to be. This looks literally like the butter chicken I cook at home and it looks like they use tight meat rather than the dry ass breast they use in some other Americanized Indian restaurants
Oh my goodness! You did Indian food, I’m so excited! We knew you would love the flavors and have fun tasting all the spices! Such a great one Joel, awesome and thank you! 🙏🏻💖
Chicken Jalfrezi for me is that perfect balance between heat and flavour. Absolutely love Indian food, im from Birmingham England and we have a wonderful large Indian community.
I am very surprised you weren’t served Basmati rice with the three dishes. That would have been more of a challenge.
My two favorite Indian dishes are Chicken Makhani and Chicken Tikka Masala. 😋😋 Love the mango chutney and raita condiments. Plus the breads…naan, garlic naan, roti, and paratha. Ohhh, the mozzarella naan!! For dessert the gulag jamun! Those are little pastry balls dipped in a cinnamon flavored syrup. 😋😋
Where the H*LL is the rice?!🤷🏽♀️
Who even serves curry without rice 🤷🏻♂️
yeah kind of crazy, that would had made the challenge ever harder
Chicken tikka masala isnt actually an original indian dish its from uk originally
cardamon syrup not cinnamon also
Nice Joel!
I would have asked for a BIGGER spoon!
Another amazing video….You Da Man!!!
See You In Connecticut!!!
It physically hurts my eyes seeing him eat Indian food like this. Indian food is so delicious, especially the way they use aromatic spices.
P.S: I am a big fan of Indian food.
Great video. I love Indian Cuisine! I have visited India and sampled the excellent food. There is no other food that I enjoy as much as Indian. Keep up the great Videos Joe (Fan from UK)
A lot of people sleep on Indian food! I’ve been on an Indian and Greek food kick lately! Something about that yogurt and tzatziki sauce!
I didn’t realize how brown I was til I realized how triggered I got every time he didn’t dip that nan into the sauce. Ahahahahaha “so like just mix it in my mouth?” No no a million times no. Great videos tho keep it up!
9:34 FINALLY
I don't understand how people like the naan without dipping it in the gravy😅
Hahah I'm not Asian but I was also triggered
The moment you sopped up the sauces that spilled on the platter... sold! Nothing going to waste! Great job! Made me place a pick up order at my local Indian spot
WOW I want to go here so bad. Food looks great, and owner seems awesome. You can tell how much pride he takes in his food. So jealous. Great job Joel!
"I am combining the sauces and the bread in my mouth..." Voiced over as he eats the whole pan of lamb while holding a small piece of nan off to the side... lol
Well done Joel 🍛
I'm from the UK 🇬🇧 I was waiting for the rice to turn up. 😊
"Looks Like YOU REALLY ENJOYED THIS MEAL, Joel!!!!"
Another Great Video....
#Yum,Yum....😋👏👏👍
That big portion of the butter chicken and maybe just one of the big Naan would have done me in! You da man.
Everything you ate looked so amazing! I've never eaten this kind of food before, but now it's on my bucket list.
Wow that looked amazing, my fave Indian dish (main course) is Lamb Rogan Josh with Pilau rice. I just love all the starters though and by the time I've picked at them I'm too full for my mains! haha
Reason why I subscribed to this channel is coz this dude doesn't just like the food, he also likes the people behind the food and their stories....keep it moving bro, it's only a matter of time till you hit a million!!!!
There were many eaters before you & there would be many more after you. But my friend you are the best there ever will be. Absolute Legend. 🙌🙏
He absolutely is.
👈👈👈👈👈very simple eating show. Please support. 🙏🙏🙏..friends...
Joel getting more and more subscribers by the minute! Well done Joel on this challenge my friend.
My 8 months pregnant self can smell how good this is! 😍😍😍But where’s the rice?😢
Using the spoon kind of made me laugh, my all time fav will always be paneer ❤️‼️
You smashed that!!! I love Indian food, especially curry and that all looked amazing, bet chef was so proud you did it justice! Even Smithy (Gavin & Stacey) has got some catching up to do now mate! 🙌
That looked amazing! Made my mouth water lol, you could tell how proud the owner was of his creations and rightfully so, seemed a great place
You are one of the very best out there Joel! Keep it going. 🤘🏻🙏☘️
Can't say that I've ever seen you lose a challenge. Like, ever.
I’ve seen him lose a sushi challenge but the amount of sushi was just ridiculous. If Joel loses, it’s because the food weight is like 12 pounds or more.
A new fan here. Just love the way you appreciate all the food. Didn't see you criticising food yet.
Garlic naan and tandoori chicken my fav. Love the side sauces too(mango chutney, etc)
"India's" on Richmond Dr. in Houston. The Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Curry, Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer. :P ohhmyydamn so good!
Hey Joel. Always a pleasure.. Enjoy love.. I do like Indian Food. Long as it's authentic nd tasty.. Do enjoy on this Friday. I do like chicken Masala. Butter chicken as well.. That good ole' naan bread.. Nothing better.. 😋🎯🐞🌹
Instagram?
Dayyyuuumm! You're da boss! Thats awesome! Love watching your videos, your such a neat eater!!
If you like Butter Chicken try Tandoori Butter Chicken, roasted in the Tandoor first and then the sauce is added. Unbelievable Joel.
Now I’m hungry for Indian food. Always use the bread with the sauces. Love this challenge
My all times fave is definitely palak lamb I'm addicted to it... wish could get some of those naan cause I love the diversity, love the spiciness too
That was amazing Joel! Def do more Indian challenges! I’m here for them!
Awesome job!! Indians one of my favs, thought u would of had some rice with that though , but awesome job as always 💪💗
Favorite Indian foods; Chicken Tika, Sag Paneer, Lamb Vindaloo, veggie pakoura, garlic naan
That looked delicious. Very vibrant and fresh looking. Last time I had Indian food was at a small town restaurant and it looked so pale and gross. Wasn’t the best experience. But I quite enjoy Indian food. Way to crush another challenge. Are you still keeping track how many challenges you’ve beaten?
Perhaps not absolute favourite, but keema (lamb mince) is always a good choice and easier to digest if you’re eating late. Keema naan is also a winner!
1:34 우와 양이 엄청나네요!!!
18:50 우와 그 많은 것을 다 먹었어요!? 대단하세요! ^^
Indian food is amazing. I love chaat samosas, butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, keema, mango lassi. A culture rich with history and beautiful combinations of spices in their food. Can’t go wrong with curries either.
Joel that was one delicious looking meal ! Great job Joel! 😊👍💕💕💕
That was a lot of naan bread, thought you might have dipped more in the buttered chicken sauce to get it down , my favourite is chicken saag. Well done Btw 👍
I love watching your videos. It's so good to see you eat my country's food. I hope you do Indian challenges more. ♥️
I definitely love a good spicy curry, and I like Indian meat pies as well. Those would have to be my favorites out of the limited Indian cuisine that I have had.
Just curious how come you didnt treat the naan as your spoon more? As far as i know they give you so much of the naan so you can use it instead of your spoon to scoop it up and that way its always getting softened up for your next bite. I know i would never be able to finish all that. I have nowhere near the capacity for it but. I would have ripped those naans in half and gone scooping like chips and salas style (i like finger foods styles eating). So this was just a curiosity question in the method you choose to complete the challenge
@𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝑻𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒍 ・❥・ thats part of what i figured was the case. Thats why i was saying this was just out of curiosity.
As a Indian seeing you dipping that Kulcha in Butter Chicken was so satisfying😅❤
Joel, this looks phenomenal! Yummm
That food looks so freaking good. Bro you can eat man I've never seen anything like this. Props to you bro. Enjoy every bite for all of us man!
Luv watching your vids Joel. How about a trip to Disney World? Specifically the Canadian restaurant at Epcot. It has some of the best cuts of beef in the country as well as amazing poutine. Only a 2 year waiting list…get on it!
Oh man...I haven't had Indian food since lockdown. Tomorrow's lunch/dinner sorted! Great looking food! Well done Joel!!!
Got to be either Beef Madras (For something low heat spice) or Phaal/Vindaloo lamb. (A extremely spicy curry should still be full of flavour if it's made well)
Joel is just incredible, he eats like you think you can eat when you're hungry and sustains that rhythm, you actually take a couple ob bytes and lose all momentum 😂
I love Indian food!! Thanks Joel!! So amazing my mouth is watering!!
Hey Joel I have been watching your videos every day for a few days now and I don't see how you could eat all that food so fast there's no way I could ever eat that food that fast. At least you get to eat all your food for free every time. That's awesome keep up the great work. Good job Chrystal Stevenson from Louisiana
Looks amazing! Great job Joel!
I had a Chicken Tikka Roganjosh with Aloo Gobi and Saag Paneer topped off with a Keema Naan for my dinner this evening, You cannot beat good Indian food. I'd like to see you try some spicier curries like the Madras, Chilli Masala or Vindaloo next Joel. Great vids, keep them coming.
Try chicken saagwala! Omg it’s DELICIOUS! I crave it every day. It’s a spinach and chicken dish with garlic and ginger.
I love dipping the naan bread in the food and eating it.. I use it like a shovel lol.. That meal looked amazing!!!
My favourites are the sides. Samosas, onion Bhajis, naan bread, roti 🤤💗
Omg i completely forgot about samosas, you are right about them being amazing even the vegetarian versions
Imagine the Toilet later in the day
Vegetable pakoras are delicious 😋 too!!
It’s nice to see you paying respects to good dishes from the various regions of India ! It’s is probably one of the countries I know the least about their cuisine! It does sound delicious! I appreciate how well they use spices to make the dishes taste gourmet when the ingredients are often very inexpensive. Thrilled you were in Texas! We have amazing food in SETX
Man I love Indian food soooo much. This looked great
U r supposed to dip the naan in the gravy everytime u have it 💙
Lover from India 💖
Man I have been in quarantine for 9 days with covid. Doing great other than not being able to taste. I have lost like 10lbs but watching a bunch of your videos makes me miss food so much.
I hope you feel better. 🤗🤗
Hope you have recovered completely. Stay safe and healthy.
@@lhdnp1980 thanks super sweet of you. I'm pretty healthy and really pretty blessed. Just miss food. Lol. Thank you so much for your kind words. Much love to you.
Hope Ur better soon 💗
Yeah butter chicken for me too followed closely by lamb Rogan Josh. I could just have the sauce and bread, garlic naan and butter chicken sauce is the perfect match.
Kudos to the chef for an amazing presentation and the food looked delicious! Will definitely stop by when in the area! Great job and glad to see these new cultural food challenges! 👍
Indian food is so flavorful and delicious. Chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and a samosa are my favorite things to eat. Way to knockout that challenge.
Restaurant: You get 1hr to complete this challenge with massive amounts of food. Joel: hold my beer
Never had Indian food or even thought about it but hearing how you describe the food and eat it you make me wanna try it asap.
I LIVE in Houston and have for 20 years, and you’ve probably been to more restaurants than I have, which is ridiculous for a foodie like I am. I’d rather cook extravagantly than dine extravagantly, but still no excuse for not trying unique, local spots. My all time favorite is the saag paneer, but I am a huge mixer, so I’ll mix it in a bowl with chicken tikka and butter chicken and their vegetarian curry.
I too love saag paneer!
Looked amazing. My favorite is aloo gobie and chicken tikki masala. Great challenge.
My ex hubby is Indian so I got to eat some of the best authentic Indian food. He and I still share indian food we make. My favorite dishes are Channa Masala, Tikka chicken Masada or Lamb curry. Really I love it all. Great video.
Looks delicious. In my opinion when eating Indian food u can taste so many different spices. They use so many spices in their foods and the taste and smell is amazing.
damn... i had a small bag of chips, and a couple beers and im uncomfortably full. But i am sooo craving indian food now! dammit Joel!!
Wake up in about 3 or 4 hours and start again!🤷🏽♀️
lamb dhansak is my favourite curry
My new favorite thing to watch on RUclips. Rooting for you!!
Butter chicken is my favorite. I feel that they really know how to use spices.
Spices are one of the main reasons why India was in the eyes of so many invaders and colonizers across the globe.
Joel I have to say that my favourite Indian curries are butter chicken and creamy butter chicken and very we done with that challenge you smashed it as always..xx
Dip the naan in the sauce! Impressive performance.
Love Indian food expecily the currys! Great job Joel!!🤙🏼
@Joel Hansen I love your videos, been subbed for almost a year now and never miss a new release! Super curious what your workout routine consists of to stay in shape while eating such large quantities of food!? Erik the electric comes to mind and he is a triathlete, I often wonder what kind of training you do!? Love the content, congrats on 300k and keep the videos coming!!
I like that he sopped up the last bit from the platter with the naan.
That looked soooooo TOTALLY delicious, I love Indian food, spicy hot food , but WITHOUT BUTTER
That's like saying "I want a real man.. with a vagina"
I love cheese naan. And I always go for lamb curry it's my favorite. Good job.
This would easily feed a family of 6 in india 😂, damn the food looks so delicious 🤤🤤
I always get the Vindaloo at any Indian restaurant I go to. They always laugh at me and tell me how hot it is and I always fail and walk out sweating profusely lolol.
Why didn’t you use the naan to eat the food like a normal well traveled person who knows other cultures? Naan is basically a utensil 🍴
I think this is the only Indian food challenge I have seen. I like it all, just as long as it's not to spicy
Never had different flavours of Naan, sounds awesome. Everything looked good, great job!
Garlic is amazing. Don't be shy or onion
Amanda...try cheese Naan...but don’t blame me when you get addicted😉
@@mikewilliams4499 sounds delicious! Where do I find flavoured Naans?
@@pashalove_as any indian places will do them

I’d let the bread soak in the sauce that would be so good !!
My family loves watching your videos. You're always gracious and complimentary of your host. Stay kind ❤
Joel that was an appetizer for you. By far one of your easiest challenges.
When Joel is eating for 20 minutes straight it is far from an easiest challenge for him. The guy is usually done in 10 minutes or less and you rarely see him go past 15. Just an absolute savage out there.
It is just not the quantity, it is the spice, the different consistencies and texture, the carb content and of course the heat, you are truly a professional
I've honestly never had any of those dishes before, but you made them sound delicious! I will have to put it on my bucket list! 😄 I thought this was a great video too! Awesome turn out Joel! As always too, HAPPY, HEALTHY, HUNGRY! 👍🤗♥️
To be honest I’ve never tried Indian food I’m so glad to see you eat that good food!!!
Joel is just a beast and does this so well 💪💪
